Have you applied to this server before? (Please link all past applications): I applied a few times over 2 years ago, but I cannot access those entries any longer. This is probably due to a change in the forum format since then, sorry.

What’s the rule you agree with the most?: I cannot say I agree with one the most, as all of them are necessary for a fully functional and player friendly server. If I must pick though it would be no discrimination or prejudice.

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? Just googling minecraft roleplaying servers however many years ago.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

 

     Valandir was born a single child to Amrod and Larien Carnesier. Previously citizens of Luminaire in Anthos, the 3 settled in the Fringe after the scourge attack in 1457. After the spread of Khorvad's Grip however, they fell into hard times and moved with the rest of the descendants through the portal to Thales in 1465. Here they settled in Annil'sul in Laureh'lin for what they hope to be their final home. Amrod is a wealthy noble (I believe coming from nobility and not royalty is ok, he isnt any kind of important figure, just a spoiled kid who isnt actually important in the slightest) with idealistic views. Because of this, Valandir was always pushed to every extent to be the best at everything he did. His father had the money to put him through the highest education possible and he always ended up at the top percentage of his class with great ease. He has an outstanding mind with a photographic memory and can perform complicated calculations quickly in his head. Through his classes, he discovered a love for alchemy and decided that he was going to strive to be one of the world's great alchemists. He was never trained with any form of weaponry and never cared much for anything physically demanding, so is not strong, but is still very limber and nimble.

 

     He finds it unfathomable that a perfect race such as his own (in his mind) could have been cursed by Iblees, so he has devoted his life to research and finding a way to lift the curse from the elves. Once he hit the age of 200, he left his home with his only close friend Eofir Olaris (my friend who should probably be applying tonight), who also wishes to lift the curse, to start his own life. After wandering around for a while learning new things and figuring out how to live without parents to buy him anything he wanted, he has decided to settle down and open his own alchemy shop. Because of his lack of physical strength, Valandir decided he would learn the way of arcane magic to defend himself.

 

Personality Traits:  Looks down on the lowly races such as trolls and will not allow himself within 10 feet of them. Charges much higher prices to any race other than elves. 

 

Ambitions: Wants to become one of the worlds top alchemists, and is learning as much as he can about alteration and evocation magic.

 

Strengths/Talents: A quick wit with a photographic memory and the ability to perform complex calculations in his head with ease. Limber enough to dodge bigger and slower opponents easily.

 

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Weak physically and cannot wield anything more than a light sword and even has difficulty with that. Superiority complex: feels as if he should be the best at everything and will try to outdo everyone at everything no matter what it is. Hates lowly races and may not be able to work together with them. becomes very irritable if he has gone without sugar for an extended period of time.
