Have you ever been banned or received a strike? If so, link the report.

Yes. There is no link to a report though.

Why do you want to be both a builder and an actor for the ET?

I want to be both a builder and actor because I think it'll give me the opportunity to not only build the environment and layout for an event but also interact with those that come across my work which would be a lot of fun. Plus as I am quite adequate with role-play I think it'd definitely help me enjoy LotC a bit more too.

What are some of your most treasured builds? (screenshots if possible):

This one was a gatehouse build I did on a friends server a while back.

Do you hold / have you held any other staff positions?

Ex-Application Team Member, Ex-Media Team Member, Ex-Guide Team Member

What are your characters? Are you willing to sacrifice any to become a Event member?

Artikus Silverblade, Krav Ireheart, Charles Tarus

Yes I am.

Pick three of the following building styles, and show us a build, of yours, that corresponds to each choice.(terraforming, organic, medieval, high fantasy, underground)

[This was an old build I did Dwarven style a couple years ago. Since then my Dwarven builds have improved greatly and I can do much better.]

Are you an independent builder, and are you capable of handling all aspects of a build?

I am capable of handling all aspects of a build.

What race / group do you think your events would best cater to? If none in particular, give an example of the type of group that your events would entertain.

Humans particularly as at this point in time I don't believe they get as many events catered towards them as the other races.

What do you believe are key factors for a successful event?

Organization: Without this key factor every event would basically be a bust. If there's no timeline, no background, no understanding of what is to go on in the event, well then there's basically not going to be one. It is absolutely vital that every event has all the kinks worked out ahead of time so as to provide the players with the best quality roleplay and event that the ET can offer. An event needs to be organized with of course a start time, but also a timeframe is good so that those participating and especially those helping can know whether or not they would have to maybe leave in the middle of the event which could throw everything off balance. It's the real minor details that take a great event and have it crumble in minutes. The only way to keep that from happening is to know exactly what, when, who, and how things are supposed to go down.

Communication: This doesn't seem like something that'd be necessary, but in reality it is one of the things that can make or break an event. When it comes to those on the ET who are involved in the event it is extremely helpful to have open lines of communication between all members so that any bumps or mishaps can be ironed out in an efficient and thorough manner as well as it allows for the event to progress at a more practical rate if questions are able to be asked and answered quickly.

What strengths could you contribute to the Event Team? Are you knowledgeable in lore or great at organizing?

To be completely honest I would have to say I am really good at organizing and believe I could really do some good for the ET and when it comes to lore I am very knowledgable with human lore in particular.

Why do you want to be part of the ET?

Since joining the LOTC community back in 2012 I have tried to contribute and help out wherever and whenever possible. Through my time being on the server I have had the great privilege of serving on the Application, Media, and Guide Teams. I think this has given me a lot of experience helping out players and understanding what it means to be a part of the staff teams of LOTC and being able to realize what things need to get done and in a timely manner. I want to be part of the ET because I want to help improve the roleplay and experience within the races, providing the community with fun things to do when the server seems a little dull. Personally, I see a huge lack of events for humans as of now and if I am accepted onto the ET would focus my efforts towards whipping up some great events for the people I think have needed them the most. I also think with my timezone and availabilities I will be able to be on when those who generally luck out, are able to interact and participate in an event.

Create three distinct RP scenarios/events based on LOTC lore that you would organize. These are pitches to the Managers and Ouity, not to the community. Note: Not all of the group must be handled at once. Eg: 20+ people via 5 person increments in a dungeon.

1) For 1-3 person.

A group or fellowship ventures out into the the woods in search of their fallen brother after being chased away by a Dread Knight who they happened to cross paths with. On their journey they come across small encampment rich with fields of food and wealth fit for that of anyone longing for just the key necessities. This area would be claimable and attainable for those who saw the true beauty within the area. From first glance one could tell the land was blessed with prosperity. As they explored the area they would find their fallen brother at the edge of the plot wounded but still alive. As they take him to a bed in one of the tents they open the chest to find many assorted potions resting at the bottom that they marvel at and quickly use to heal their friend.

2) For a group of 5-10.

A chapter of Knights takes on a crusade to go recover a stolen or lost relic that could hold the key to who the next heir to the throne of the humans should be. Along the way they encounter a series of obstacles meant to test their diligence, honor, and skill in the face of danger. These obstacles would consist of clues that take them to an old ruined castle that deep within its dark dungeons crawling with now foul creatures resides a powerful enchantment that can protect you from even the worst of evil along with a book that holds the next clue to a temple of sorts, a meeting place, where kings of old would meet to discuss matters of great importance between their kingdoms. Here they would find a map detailing the location to where the relic would be hidden along with an ancient bow used to shoot flaming arrows to light big piles of signaling fires to let the other kingdoms know when to meet. After that they would follow the map to a big cave hidden high up in the mountains that would require them to fight off a pack of wolves that guard the area in order to gain entrance to the cave. Once accomplished they would enter the cave only to find two actual guards of a different nature (actors) which attack the group to keep the secret safe. If the Knights prove their worth and succeed they would gain entrance and find at the back of the cave. Here they would find a sword of great power with the actual name of the heir inscribed along the hilt and within the chest also a set of armor only fit for the heir.

3) For a group of 20+.

A human city, bustling with activity of the marketplace and shops on a overcast and cloudy day, is interrupted as rain starts to come down. At first the rain isn't bad and people continue on with their lives, but it slowly starts to pick up. Within minutes the rain is so bad that the tunnels under the city are filling up faster then they can empty and they start to overflow. The streets turn from puddles to streams and the water starts to damage the market stalls and leak into the shops and homes. The guard of the city jump into action as they try to board up shops and route the water out of the city and into the river. Soon the citizens see that the guard is outmanned and everyone jumps in to pitch in. The rain keeps coming and as the last of the shops are boarded up the streams turns into gushing waterways. Seeing the predicament of his city the King decides to try and cheer his people up. So he invites the entire city into the banquet hall and holds an impromptu feast for all to attend. The people of the city laugh and tell stories as they enjoy each other's company and friendships are made. As the storm finally quells outside the people go to see how much damage was done, but with joyful spirits and bellies full they set to work opening back up and repairing any damage.

How long does it take for you to complete a build?

Depends on the build. Anywhere from a hour to a couple days.

Tell us how you plan on constructing a large build, a medium build, and a small build.

I plan on constructing all my builds the same way. I will gather the resources needed for each build and then either go work kinks out on single player and build it there first or build off the cuff.

Additional details (Do you know how to Voxel? World Edit? Craftbook? Etc...):

Some World Edit.

How long do you plan to stay in the ET?

Around 6 months or so.

Tell me a trick about building (eg: floating torches, custom heads)

Not really many "tricks" but something I like to do is make it look realistic so say if there's a heavy sign you put some sort of support on top of just the fence that would normally hold an item on the end.

Tell me what you want from the ET.

I want to be able to have the opportunity to build for the community and provide a suitable environment for events and so forth.

Just like on his last app, I support this. I didn't even know him for very long before I decided he was worth supporting on his ET app. He always makes the roleplay feel quite natural and I believe he could likely play out events that would feel meaningful and immersive to the players.

Just got unbanned for hacking, probably should leave it a while but nonetheless he is a very capable role player.

+1 Is an amazing rper and his rp shouldn't be judged because of his hacks. I have known him for a long long time especially in the Silverblade family. Would be a wonderful edition to the ET and I could really use his help in the events that I am currently involved in. Most ets are busy with there projects and I still think we can use more to help out with major events that are going on. He also has good knowledge of lore and has played almost every race so he knows the ins and the outs+ how events could work and improve the roleplay of races, nations, and even single players.

I +1 this App.. I don't necessarily take part in the whole supporting of Apps ideal but Vekrus is worth doing so for. He's a creditable member of this community who always thrives to bring the best out of every RP he's put in. I'd be grateful to play on the server under a staff member such as himself and I know others would also.

Vekrus came to me the other day and offered to do some building for me, since I'm not the best at it :P He's doing a great job imo, and would be a great asset to the team!
