So I made a few decks of LotC Magic the Gathering cards because I'm a huge nerd and myself and another LotCer who also plays magic are hanging out over break and when I saw him over the summer I said I'd do this. Here's the green-white deck I made, minus the mana.

And some of the images were derp so here's the other four in the deck:

I've also made a black-red and red deck. I need some ideas for a blue/blue-black deck. Please, magic players, submit them here.

I don't even care if I don't get attack/defense points [don't know if they matter, never played Magic: The Gathering] but that Marius quote though. +1

I've also got a Four Horsemen of Setherien Card in the black-red deck.

The color identity on most of these cards are real weird. White doesn't kill creatures, give them -x/-x, or return creatures to their hand. White is usually about exiling cards with a drawback added on (http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=swords+to+plowshares http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=382192).

Blue is all about card draw, countering spells, wizards, and big fish-y creatures & boats. Black is all about killing creatures, diseases, zombies/undead, and demons.

This one is super cool though, 1+ here.

Also if a card has 0 toughness, it instantly dies (http://i.imgur.com/x2yJl1z.png)

Yeah, I don't claim to be anything more than an amateur. As for the 0 toughness one, it's meant to be enchanted on another creature, so it's their combined toughness. It probably doesn't make sense by the actual magical rules but w/e it's just me and my friend.

I've been playing MTG for a few years, and this is my advice on how to make these cards play-worthy and believable.

The -7 on the Wandering Wizard has an incorrectly spelled "Sorceries".

Aspect of Growth should be +1/+3 for that mana cost and in blue.

Druid Vines can just be two green no colorless. Right now it's pretty bad.

Regenerate is generally a black effect, I'd take out Clerical Healing or change it to +0/+5 until end of turn.

Ascended Purification, for that mana cost, should either be "Return up to 6 target creatures to their owner's hands" or cost 3 colorless 2 white and be "Return up to two creatures on the field to their owner's hands and up to two cards from any graveyard to their owner's hand."

Holy Fire is okay as it is, but you could make it just one white mana.

The Golden Lance needs the destroy effect to be a tap instead of just being there.

Arcane Shield needs to have the text "until end of turn" added to its effect.

Daldriad steed should be a 2/1 with bestow for the same cost as its mana cost.

High Prince Native should have the same mana cost, but be "When High Prince Native enters the battlefield, you may take control of up to three target non-creature permanents." and be a 3/8.

Apparition of Godfrey should be changed to "you may place ten Human creatures from your hand onto the battlefield without paying their mana cost."

Gaius can be one colorless less.

Peter Chivay needs protection from green.

And a few Blue Black Card ideas:

"Iblees, the Shadow" - Planeswalker, four black one blue mana with 6 royalty counters - +1 Destroy target creature with toughness four or less, -3 Target player discards six cards, and if he/she cannot, their whole hand, -10 Target player sacrifices 10 permanents and you place five "Undead" 3/2 tokens onto the battlefield. "Some say Iblees was the greatest of the Daemons; some say Iblees was a beautiful dark elf."

"Godfrey, God-Emperor" - 3 black 4 colorless, 7/4 - When Godfrey, God-Emperor enters the battlefield, exile all nonhuman creatures. When Godfrey, God-Emperor leaves the battlefield, return those creatures to play.

"Imperial Noble" - 2/3 for two black and one blue or white - When Imperial Noble enters the battlefield, put a 1/1 Soldier token onto the battlefield. Flavor text can be "Through intrigue and death, the nobles of Oren took power and destroyed each other."

"Seventian Assassin" - 4/1 for two blue and one black - Unblockable - Flavor Text "Culture wasn't the only tool the Seventians used in their rise to power."

"Cloud Temple Tomes" - Two blue mana one colorless sorcery - Scry One, draw two.

I need some ideas for a blue/blue-black deck. Please, magic players, submit them here.

The traditional Blue/Black decks usually run off zombie themed decks, but whether that's relevant to an LOTC themed deck is another question. But here's some of my personal ideas.

Cost: One Black and one plane

Name: Newly Risen Ghoul

Creature: Zombie

Abilities: Null

Flavour Text: "I didn't think I'd see frank again, but here he stands. So many things I wanna tell him but he's eating poor Mary May's children." - Confused Farmer

Attack/defence: 2/2

Cost: One Blue and two plane

Name: Headless Giant

Creature: Zombie

Abilities:

As an additional cost to cast Headless Giant, exile a creature card from your graveyard.

Headless Giant also enters the battlefield tapped.

Flavour Text: "It's the only way to get ahead. Well that went over his head". - Overly jokative necromancer.

Attack/defence:

Cost: One Blue and one plane

Name: Necromancer Thrall

Creature: Human

Abilities: (Free) Put the top card of your library into your graveyard, add 1 to your mana pool.

Flavour text: Thrall, feed the ghouls. Thrall, fetch me more corpses. Thrall, stop yammering and give me your limbs. I have a name ye' know. I should've been a farmer". - Morris the thrall

Attack/defence: 1/1

Cost: One black three plane

Name: Necromancer

Creature: Human

Abilities: (One Black) Exile one creature card from your graveyard, and summon one 4/2 zombie token.

Flavour text: "My force's need no sleep, nor food and water. All they know is my will, but they smell". - Necromancer legions

Attack/defence: 3/2

Cost: One blue and five plane

Name: Heralding of the Wraiths

Spell: Enchantment

Abilities: You may pay 0 rather than pay the mana cost for Zombie creature spells you cast.

Flavour Text: "Prepare for rapture, for those who scorned and chastised our work shall see the greatness that is undeath". - Vinzakra the Wraith
