Robert slowly approaches the group now, shyly, and with obvious discreetness, holding a small bag of machine parts, gears, and scrap, he watches them silently, "..."

It was time, Captain John Elgar thought to himself as his platoon of men marched along the dark and smelly under city train rails. The rebels were insolent and it was time they were rooted out and destroyed. He heard gunfire and order his men to investigate only to find a bleeding out solider on the ground.

After being tended to, the soldier spoke "They went into the under city, sir. Towards the train ways."
"There was more than one. That damned professor has gathered a group." The Captain nods to the soldier before looking over towards the entrance, the very entrance used by the group of civilians guided away by the professor. He removed his Captain's hat and look over towards his lieutenant, ordering him "Bring your platoon straight through this entrance here. He turns to another lieutenant and he shocks into a salute, a kiss ass of course. "You and your company, take the western entrance into the train station, we're rooting them out and ending this leader, here and now. As for the last company, you're with me and we're setting up upon a vantage point among the undercity. We'll make sure none of them escape" he orders. The officers nod quickly before marching off and  whisking away orders before vanishing off to their designated targets."

Quickly, the troops of the city took their positions as told and had located the cafe where the small group of survivors were holed up. Over the the primitive communication devices used by the army, Elgar took to issuing commands to his scouts "Have the enemy been spotted yet?" A quick wisp came over it before a voice came through "Yes, sir! They're held up inside a small cafe." The Captain stood for a brief before moving over towards his snipers set up over viewing most of the cafe. "Do you have a view on the cafe?" he speaks to the soldier. "Sir, I have most of it in view, except for the back. There is one exit through the back alleyways which I cannot see."

"Lieutenants, report your positions in immediately, the enemy has been spotted" He waits patiently awaiting the responses.

Lieutenant Edward Adams listens to the Captain's orders and nods, saluting before gesturing to his company to move towards the front entrance of the trainways. His unit has had a high success rate, and they knew what they were doing, at least enough to take care of a few rebels. They would ensure that no rebels leave the way they came in. He pulled the hammer of his pistol back as his troops aim  their standard issue gauss rifles at the entrance. With a motion to his second squad, the communicator radioes their readiness to the Captain.

Evelyn carried this rifle along upon her shoulder while slowly making her way along with the group. She mumbled still about her less than high class dress being ruined but overall she quietly made her way through the under city along with this band of low class people. "How did I even get stuck with these people?" she quietly wondered as they marched through the streets in a crouch, avoiding most gunfire.

As they arrived at the cafe she set the rifle on a table and stood straight up. With a scoff, she dusted off her bottom cape and straightened her corset. The pompous lady made her way over to a nice looking table and smoothed her dress out before sitting in the chair with her legs crossed. She clasped her hands together and placed them on her knees, then began to look around for any familiar faces.

Whilst searching for a familiar person, she listened to a man give a speech. The man looked like the professor of that class she decided not to take, deeming it unworthy of her tastes. She was right. As he sputtered on and on with his convincing speech, slowly the realization dawned on her. Evelyn was in a cafe full of low tier rebels! She was shocked and appalled! The woman stood up quickly, causing her chair to make a loud scrape noise across the wooden floor, and placed her arms on her hips while staring at the professor. "You are an imbecile and I don't belong here. If this is some sort of joke, it's not very funny. Do you know who I am!? If my brother finds out I've been taken by a band of misfit rebels then the entire upper tier will be after all of you!"

Robert looks over towards Evelyn, as he slides loose screw he found into the bag, he shyly looks from her to the other people, back and forth between the two, before shuffling back, with obvious fright. "R- rebels?" He murmurs timidly, before waiting for an answer

Lucy eyes the high tier noblewomen ranting at the rebels, only to aware of the soldiers filling into position all along the cafe. Thinking quick, Lucy cocked the lever of her gun, brought it to her eye, and aimed it at Evelyn. Eyes boring into Evelyn's, it was clear Lucy would shoot her down before she could make a reach for her gun that she left on the table. Smiling, she says;

"Maybe we don't even have to fight here guys, it seems we have ourselves a high tier hostage. We can try to bargain with her life to get us out of this scrap."

In case the fight erupted, Lucy kept a clear exit route to the back alley. She tried to keep out of view of the snipers as she kept Evelyn pinned where she stood.

Robert slowly itches closer, "Tha's not right.." He murmurs, "We couldn't get away with it... we'd just ge' shot.."

Evelyn was glaring at the people in the room when she suddenly found herself eye to eye with a gun aimed at her. The girl blinked, and exhaled, her features of anger slowly melting off her face into a normak, neutral expression. She moved her hands from her hips and raised them into the air, while looking the girl over.

"Now now, this is very much unneccessary. You're a lovely looking girl, you need not stoop to their level. Lowet your weapon and I shall treat you with the finest things money can buy." Her words might be convincing to most, after all, her job was to lie. She was raised her whole life to lie her way to get wgat she wanted. The woman was an expert at it. To some, her words would be honey. To others, they would probably see through her ruse. After all, she wasn't sure of how the brain process worked on the lower tier, but she was almost sure they were blubbering idiots.

Evelyn nodded sideways to the man who spoke up in defense of her. "Precisely what he said." She reasoned. "If you killed me, they easily open fire on all of you. If you held me hostage, they'd open fire. To them, I'm more important than all of you combined. They won't hesitate in the face of danger!"

(Man I hate posting from my phone. I really need to figure out my color code.)
