Alright, this is a skeletal simple draft of what the finished product will look like.

Help is greatly appreciated as this knowledge has come from my experience with the Orcs. So, this guide might have some inaccuracies that I hope to iron out with the help of some feedback.

Refer to this checklist here:

Sub- Races:

Alright let us start with the Sub- Races of the Orcs.

Goblins: Goblins are the smallest of the Orcish races, tending to be around five to six feet tall, although they are not limited to these heights. Rumored to be a half-breed of elves and Uruks, Goblins possess a more calculated mind compared to the rest of their brethren. Thus, Goblins tend to be skilled in less combative skills, ranging from engineering, blacksmithing to more philosophical pursuits. Despite their physical weakness, they are not to be underestimated, they have proven themselves to be cunning and wise, some going to the path of Shamanism.

Uruks: Uruks serve as the backbone of the Orcs, being the most common of all Sub- Races. Uruks usually have a large and muscular build, their height between six to nine feet high. With their muscular body types, they are the most combat-prone of the sub-races, raised as children to fight. Uruks, like other orcs, are extremely honorable and love a good fight.

Uruks, stereotypically, are thought to be slow and unintelligent, however that is extremely wrong. Uruks can be fast, but their constant huger and cravings for food in general are extreme. They are constantly hungry. As for intelligence, most Uruks aren’t as educated in comparison to the rest of the descendant races, not only can Uruks show heightened wisdom and intelligence when properly taught, many become Shamans.

Ologs: Ologs, or Ogres, are actually where the Orcish stereotype of stupidity comes in. These hulking creatures are more animalistic and primal than their cousins. Having a huge build of ten through twelve feet, they act as the muscle of the Orcish community, serving as brutal killing machines in the battlefield. Their huge bulk is compensation to their rather dimwitted-ness, most Ologs possessing a limited vocabulary of fifty words. Ologs are also uncommon in the days of Athera.

A more specific and larger guides to Ologs can be found here (Credits to Sosa): https://www.lordofth...-ogre-rp-guide/

The Wiki page on the races:

http://wiki.lordofthecraft.net/Orcs

Appearance:

- Orcs have skin colors that are mostly brown or green, however, grey and red is not unheard of.

- Orcs have within their natural disposal of weapons tusks that protrude from their mouths, older orcs getting two pairs rather than just one pair of tusks.

- Most Orcs wear nothing but simple clothing such as a loincloth and/ or leather armor scattered around their body, but some orcs wear heavy armor in occasions of battle and war.

- Their eyes are mostly brown, red being rare.

- Hair color is usually dark (brown, black) but some orcs dye their hair in the blood of their fallen enemies, soaking it in enough blood to cause it to turn into a dark crimson.

Language (The Blah)

The Blah is the language of the Orcs, contrary to semi-popular belief, the Blah is actually an easy language to learn. Most of the words are English words but broken, in truth, the Blah is more like an accent.

Getting Your First Orc:

(Note that these steps can differ, I simply listed them here because they worked great with myself)

Step 1: Create an Orc, refer to the races above and the link provided. Decide which race you want to be and commit to it. Also, I find that thinking of your Orc’s purpose or goal in life ahead of time allows you to better direct and guide them, however creating one with no specific goal allows freedom, both having their merits.

Step 2: Join the group! You can do this by asking Rusk’Dom (Burkester) the current Rex, Murthraka (Patato), Eath’Lur (Sandk1ng) and other orcs in getting you used to the practices of the Orcish community.

Step 3: Get a blarg! You can talk to the usual Orc slave builder Murthraka (patato) for that!

Step 4: Explore! Talk to people, get a few snagas and just have some fun.

Habits [WIP]

Whitewashes, How To Not Be One- Courtesy of Sandk1ng

What's an whitewash?

  • A whitewash is a orc that has been shuned from the orcish society for certain reasons, It may vary from weakness to cannibalism of an fellow orc. A orc is not nescessarily deemed a whitewash when he's weak, instead, he is sent to the desert for an set ammount of time to return later and prove his chance of living amongst the orcs.

What makes and doesn't makes me a whitewash?

  • As I said, they may vary from stupid to reasonable things. Thingsrelated, but not all of them, the most common includes:

-Being a cultist or a antagonist that is not from orcish standards

Orcs share a common hatred for the undead. Becoming a undead or some sort as an orc is an abomination to Krug. Long ago, Iblees offered blessings for the four children of the creator, having Krug as the last one. He refused and Iblees fought him, wich burnt his skin and turned it green, followed by a long story.

Also, talking about the "cultist or a antagonist that is not from orcish standards", orcs does indeed haves a few cults for you to get started on shamanism, maybe learning some shamanism too.

             -Doing cannibalism on orcs

Although orcs do indeed have a great hunger, this madness was never done after middle Anthos, where the Kaxil existed. Eating orcs is a pretty bad idea, as it is worse than any orcish crimes, as there is no known orc that was given a chance of rehabilitation from cannibalism. Such is an extreme abomination to Krug. Not even ologs would cannibalize goblins or orcs, although they are more tended to when the food is overly scarce and they need their bellies filled with more meat than a lion eats.

-Worshipping ANYTHING that is not Krug and/or the spirits.

Orcs have a religion and a magic in common that is the shamanism, one of  the most interesting archetype of magic. A orc that worshipps another entity will almost always be given a chance of rehabilitation. If he fails into doing so and becoming an honourable orc, he will be hunt and killed.

-Being from a human military or living into their cities.

Orcs are excepted to live within the city perimeters, although outside and far away is allowed if they follow Krug and his teachings, but they must rarely or never live with humans, elves, dwarfs, halflings...the list is endless. The same applies to  goblins and ologs. Having friends that are not orcs is NOT whitewashy.

-Stealing, releasing or killing a fellow orc slave

Orcs do and will enslave. If a orc releases a fellow orc slave, the one whom had the slave is to say what he must do to pay his crimes, be it to recover the slave, go to the deserts and live in there...

             -Being edgy

This includes your hoods, double katanas, throwing knives, shurikens and anything weeaboo-ish.

  • There are many ways to obtain honour while walking into this thin line. These includes:

-Winning an honour klomp against a fellow orc

-Accepting a klomp

-Being a shaman and spreading the spirits vast knowledge and teachings

-Making your title worthy of who you are

-Helping the orcs into re-building the city

-Greeting a orc with an headbutt

-Standing strong and not giving small-talk after  the headbutt, instead, repaying it in the same coin.

-Being unique and following your sub-race pick. Not doing so can generate a lot of small talk behind you.

-Avoid asking extremely constantly for people to teach you shamanism. This is fu**ing annoying. By: All shamans.

-Teaching your children the teachings of Krug. They are the future of the nation, as then, knowledge must be passed.

Conclusion

Not whitewashing might and will help you greatly into getting inside into the orcs. Leave away your friends that you have in your elf and go killing them, you're a huge walking green, red or black monster with tusks wielding a axe, sword or spear that speaks weird and eats elf meat after all.

-The Skeletal Draft is almost done, I will be heading out for the night to study, hope you guys leave some feedback and correct any inaccuracies! PS, prepare for that culture and hierarchy, that’s gonna be a lot.
