((If you haven't known, House Grey has been absent for the past months due to computer problems and outside related inquires. Well, we're back and I figured i'd let some lore in the Aesterwald forum to give a heads up on what happened.))

Aaron Grey:

Aaron's eyes softly slid open as his body heat seeped into the cold, stone ground underneath him. He moved his palm from off his face, putting it near his thigh. His body, pale as milk, slowly rose from his cavern coffin. Aaron couldn't even stay upright, his body too weak after staying dormant for almost five years. His eyes closed shut again as he began to hear something. On his knees, his head tilted to his right shoulder, as his eyes opened once more. "Ha-are-e." he muffled. It was the first time his lips moved in ages, and the pain resolving from the chapped, bare surface was intolerable. Glancing at the animal, he heard whimpers, and saw the pool of blood underneath it. At that moment, instinct kicked in. Aaron's weak, lifeless body crawled toward the crying beast. He felt the snapping of his bones and joints as he crawled. Looking down briefly, then back up, 'the blood' he thought. Aaron finally arrived at the hare, white and brown furred with brown eyes. His hands collapsed in the blood as his head followed, licking the remaining blood off the hard surface. His hands not bearing his weight no longer, but now grasping the now dead animal. Aaron tilted it, pouring the hare's blood into his open mouth. When finished, the threw the beast, and wiped his blood-stained lips. Aaron was refilled, and tired no longer. He looked to find the pathogens mark on his skin, remembering how it was located on the inside portion of his forearm. His hands brushed against it, "If ya' keep trying to kill me, how are ya' eva' going to survive?" he questioned. Aaron now had the strength to look around the cave, seeing the entrance to his unfinished drinking hall. He stood up swiftly, walking over to check to see if any of the goblets had fresh blood inside. 'All empty'  he thought to himself. Instead of finding out more of what happened. Aaron turned around, walking up the steep, mossy steps leading outside. He shielded his eyes from the sunlight above, looking out on the vast land of The Margraviate of Hanseti, the wonderful duchy he built. He looked down, spotting a stranger and yelling "Allo!?" The man looked up to him, and Aaron climbed down the steps to his homeland.

Franz hears word of his old friends of House Grey returning once more. "I only hope they have something left after the undead attacked." He remarks before throwing the piece of paper into the fire.
