Mephistophelian 977 Share Posted January 4, 2015 Nature of the bug: Auction BugFirst occurrence: (Providing an exact time helps us locate the error messages, which can help in fixing the bug) I cannot recall the exact time. It was the day the prizes for the writing competition were given. The location was near/at the auction house of the Cloud Temple.Describe exactly all the actions you took leading up to the bug: I went to my chest, and found that I could not access it. I had it opened by Gigarun, and he gave my items. I thanked him, and found out that there was a recipe for iron studded leather tunic/chestplate that I did not need. I then went straight to the CT, and shift right-clicked to put the item up for auction. It changed to a blank map, then vanished from my hands. It asked for the price. I entered the first price, and went to the next section, which asked for how long I would like to keep the auction going. I then realised that I did not want to auction it without knowing the worth of the item, so I typed 'cancel'. No item was given back, but I could type as if the auction had been cancelled. I contacted Gigarun, and he advised me to relog, incase it was a simple glitch. I did so, and saw nothing. He then told me to ask the person in charge of the prizes, which I did. I was then told to post a Bug Report.What messages are/aren't you getting that you would/wouldn't get normally: (in the event of a crash, please also provide the error log) n/aFrequency of occurrence: Only once, since I dare not repeat it for fear of losing another item. It does not occur with things such as blocks. I figure it only happens to the 'map' recipe item.Are you able to reproduce the bug: I might, if you gave me a not-so-valuable recipe. Sporadic 2844 Share Posted January 10, 2015 Could not reproduce. Auctioning of recipes seems to precede activating them. It is possible someone tricked you by using /renameitem on an empty map. Did your recipe item have two lines of item description (lore) on it as well? Or else, are you now capable of crafting thahnium tunics in your leatherworkers station?
