The creatures are quite easily avoided and if you just allow them to say their rabble without interfering, then you wont lose your head from your shoulders. I guess that could be said about both internet trolls and the ones that go bump in the dark.

Don't give up on a character after two or three tries if they are ignored, keep a constant of what they are doing and eventually someone will take notice. Or join a large group and contribute, which ever.

You should never allow others to dictate how you should play your character, that is what changes it from being your character to their character.

 

I've always tended to join groups and then contribute to them as best I can, so I guess that'd be the suggestion.

 

The people that I've grown to love, the entertaining role play that I seem to find regardless of how some people state that it's dead and the feeling of being within a large community that all shares the love of role play.

 

I've known you for a short amount of time, I more see you on the forums but both forums and Skype you seem like a lovely person who tends to stick up for their friends.

The fact of the activeness, or lack thereof, if there were a group of active Halflings that had a lot of fun village time role play that avoids the big'uns then I would but I haven't seen anything of the sort in a long while.

Theoretically a master of one is as strong as someone who is as master as the other, it would depend on how they use their magic to prove usefulness.

If a character hits a spot where you feel that he cannot develop further I would suggest making him leap into something unfamiliar, regardless of whether he would do it or not. For example, if your character was a druid that reached his peak of excellence and you have nothing more to do with him, I would suggest that he somehow gets tainted and begins to spread the taint. Simply going against what he normally would do, which would revert his process and opportunities for development would open up from there.
