Coaster 2086 Share Posted February 10, 2015 From the capital city of Petrus, the epicenter of Humanity and seat of King Andrik Vydra, birds numbering in the scores and messengers mounted on swift destriers are scattered in every direction. Letters, penned originally by his Majesty and copied by his scribes go out to every recognized Lord, Military Commander, and Mercenary that serves the King. They read as follows. “Fellow Men of Oren, It is upon this day, for the first time since my ascension to the throne of Oren, that I formally call to arms the banners and swords of the Kingdom of Oren for the First Orenian War Games. Immediately, and within the Elven Day of this missive being read; every Lord, Commander, and Captain that serves the Crown is called to the mustering grounds outside Petrus, bearing tents and with the full number of fighting men that they can muster. You will be given a space to pitch your tents, and a series of events will be held over multiple elven days to gauge our readiness in times of war as well as celebrate the reunification of Humanity. Your men will train, fight, and drink with his fellow soldiers from other regions in the first gathering of all our fighting strength since the time of Tuvya. Great harvest have been brought forth to feed the droves of Horen's Ilk, and rivers worth of ale and wine stands ready to be tapped. Be vigilant, be fierce, and be ready to display your worth to the King of Men. Any Vassals or hirelings that are not in attendance will be punished severely. By the will of His Grace, King Andrik Vydra ((Attend to the outskirts of Petrus with tents. Speak to either Seannie22 or CormadeHazard. Requirement of at least one tent for every two men. You are expected to be in the tent city as your noble/soldier/camp follower character when you are on that character.)) List of Events 2/13 - War Games 2/14 - Tournaments. Includes such as melees, archery, jousting and more. Civilian festivities will also be present. 2/15 - Grand Feast! Celebrate Humanity's reunified greatness with food, wine, and jovial cheer!
