Darkness further consumed the lands of Athera, no matter what each little victory the four races bought themselves the ever growing plains of taint spread their corruption further and dug their claws deeper into the earth. The druids grove had proven what the races idle actions had caused, the great power thought slumbered had disappeared and vanished into nothingness had burst forth without warning and spread chaos in the blink of an eye. There, resting in his marble crafted throne resting a towering figure of immense power and elegance, his eyes closed. The Itharel stood before his patron without a word, head bowed and stuck in a submissive silence before finally speaking out.

“My lord.. I cannot do this alone, your last champion beseeches you for help? Have I not crusaded and fought for everything you have wished for? I have and will lay down my soul in your service till my body withers to nothing but I cannot travel this path alone. Gift onto me more brothers for my fight.”

The Itharel soon fell silent and bowed his head once more awaiting the voice to speak, and so it did. A graceful and elegant voice echoed throughout the halls as he spoke his reply to him.

“So it shall be done, I shall break the chains of captivity that shackle your brethren to the earthly realm and let them stand by your side in tomorrows to come. Go now, my son and prepare for the day.”

The Itharel vision wavered as his body grew weak and his legs buckled beneath him. Collapsing to the ground and his vision soon growing bleary before becoming a black swamp of blindness all together. He awoke to his previous body, sat in its meditative stance within the halls of the Sacred lights keep. Weary and aching he slowly stood to make off in preparations for the event.

-(~)+(~)-

Weeks had passed since then and so had the preparations that the Itharel and gone underway. Slowly and cumbersomely the trio climbed the mountains once more where they would return to the keep. Reaching the mighty marble stairwell that would lead them further into its lands he paused and glanced off to a beaten track, gesturing them to following and heading off past overgrown bushes and tangling vines.

Further across the jagged path besides the mountain edge they travelled before finally meeting a cave entrance that grew heavily with the same over-grown life and ferns in its chaotic mess.

“Speak nothing until the question arises, my friends. Your words are useless here.”

There they entered the caves before a sudden wash of light flooded over them before finally dispersing to reveal a underground paradise of small streams, beautiful meadows and a platform sitting directly in the middle housing four large crystals of a golden shade. The Itharel turned to face the two as they brought themselves upon the platform. “Rosencrantz, Leyuin.. I know very little about you both truly, I wish you luck in your upcoming trial.”

He turned once more and stepped his way out and exiting the cave leaving the two in their awkward silence to look about the surroundings. Before long an inquisitive wisp of light descended from the shadows of the caverns roof and stood in front of them. A voice following it shortly after.

Do not fear. For I are what you seek to be. Today you decide your tomorrows. You shall gain what you so seek…. Walk I tell you. Come into the light and break the bonds that have held you captive. Destroy the fear and hate that has plagued you as mortals. Allow mental limits to be a thing of your past.”

The youngest of the Clerics was the first to act he began attempted to step forward, but as he did it seemed he was being held back as if chained. A look of shock ran across his face. As this happened the wisp spoke to the pair again.

“The journey shall not be an easy one. These bonds have held you for your entire existance. To break them is to change your very being. Join me on this side of those barriers and see your path.Become more than a mortal caught in the crosswinds of gods, and bind your life to my light.”

The shackles fell free of the youngest and he was allowed to step forward and embrace the light that seeped from the empty crystal upon the platform. Its golden carcass began to split as it engulfed the cleric without a sound and closed around him. Its shell hardening and trapping the cleric within its depths.

The wisp hovered infront of the second, older looking cleric now. The second crystals carcass began to open and its golden light called out to Rosencrantz. The cleric faltered in his step before surging forwards with a renewed vigor and entrapping himself into the crystals clutches. The carcass hardened again and the two were sealed.

A further week past where Daniel had taken guardianship over the caverns entrance awaiting their entrance before he heard a low clanking of heavy plate as it strided towards the cavern entrance. Standing himself up with a grin of amusement he looked to the two paled and weary clerics with a tilt of his head.

“Welcome my brothers, you are his champions now.”

And so Aldrik was born.
“Hope.”

And so Tulrínn was born.
“Valor.”

((tl:dr two new itharel to replace the two we lost recently))
