The Congregational Recordings

The Church of the Canon has begun to record its congregations, both to maintain the integrity of the church and the validity of its teachings. These congregations, recorded every Saint’s Week, will be put under theological review and listed for the clergy to examine and interpret.

((Sunday, March 8th, 2015))

14th of Amber’s Cold, the Year of His Falling 1497

First Priest: Hectorius of Aeldin

Sermon: The Blessing of Saint Owyn, the Exalted

Location: Cathedral of Leuvaarden

Other Clergy in Attendance: Acolyte Declan, Priest Jethro

The Mass was conducted with a full congregation, and the topic was of the Exalted Saint Owyn. The story of Saint Owyn’s establishment of the first recognized Orenic state was explained to those in attendance, and the morals of strength, purity and unity were promoted throughout the mass. The hymn of Da Pacem Domine concluded the mass while Acolyte Declan and Priest Jethro collected donations from the congregation. Both Priest Jethro and Acolyte Declan were then sent to deliver alms to the poor as Hectorius delivered confession to those in need.

((To the Clergy: when you have conducted a mass, record it here. The dual purpose of this thread is to: show our activity in the weekly procedures of mass; and to give those who may have missed the mass some substance of what was discussed. Post a reply in the proper format listed below:))
