As Lilum sits in a Petrusian Tavern, he begins writing to Urguan's sons and daughters,

 

 

"Dear Grand King Balek and those of Urguan's blood,

 

I plead to all of you to not continue with the battle against the humans that has been foreseen within the coming days.

I plead to all of you to drop your hatred for humans.

I understand that they have killed many of our kin and even some of our kings, even a recent one at that, but that was their fault. This war has been nothing but straight up nonsense.

Our Kings who started this, they were all stark to not have ended this sooner, and maybe our last king would have lived to see this day of peace. 

I plead to all of you, join the Orenians on their path of justice for their king.

His death was not honorable.

The humans had showed ingenuity and valor for their actions against us, but compared to the high elven shitlords, this was just too far for anyone to handle, even us.

 

I say this to you Grand King Balek Irongut, meet with what the humans call the privy council before any form of battle. I have talked to one of their own about this, he seems to be high up on the political ladder, and has agreed to help with this arrangement.

His name is Zoprak Visconti.

 

And to your my brothers and sisters, make peace with the humans. 

Learn from this day my kin, I beg to you all.

 

Hopefully, with this, we can finally find peace. Until then, I shall stay in Petrus and help with the hammer of justice the humans shall bring down.

As Lilum finishes up the paper, he whistles for his trusty blind mole rat, Samson. An animal he found during a mining trip, he does not see this rat as a pet, but more of a friend. He picks up Samson and ties the enclosed note to the rat. 

 

"Guh Samson, guh tuh t'e Kingdom and 'ang t'is up lad."

 

As he is done talking to the rat, he puts him down and lets him scurry off. He does not know how this blind rat gets around, maybe smell? Though he also wanders how he is able to properly pin his notes to boards all across Athera. He doesnt give it much thought before going back to relaxing.

 

Lilum hopes this ends well, and the only blood that would be shed would be that of the High Elves and their dishonorable ways of killing.

At Kal Karaad's main message board, Samson is seen scurrying along. As he climbs the board, he emits small squeaks, and soon more of his race begins to climb up the board. They all help with the posting of the message.

 

As the group of rats finish the posting, they all scurry off into the deepest cracks within the stone.

'Ell, it was dere before da Aetserwaldians or da Grand kingdom settled! Dere claims ov da nort' du nay pertain tu Hiebenhall nor 'ave a roight tu et, 'n if dat is da proice fir peace it is tu 'igh. We want peace, we want dis innocent blood s'ed 'n war fir land tu stop, but da orenians will nay accept peace from us..."

 

The young Dwarf goes to walk away from the speech, and venture back to Hiebenhall where he would pass out drinking ale.
