Readicti 902 Share Posted March 31, 2015 Hello hello! The AT and LMs have been working on making the Wiki a lot more user friendly and informative. As such, Kalamoot and I have slowly been working on filling in all those holes in the LoTC history on the Wiki. Though we have tried to fill in some of these gaps, I for one do not remember every single thing that has happened. But I’m sure some of you history/lore buffs do! So this is a call for summaries of history for each map that has happened. It can be race specific or a general history. Both are welcome. We also need a small summary of some of the missing towns and a few suggestions of notable figures in Anthos! Town names will be hidden in a spoiler below. Information should include a small summary of the town's environment, the majority race, and maybe a little history on how it was founded and/or how it's been involved in larger server history. We don’t want biased stories, or any “the victor writes the tales” situations. Also note, that the writing submitted is up to be changed in future iterations. Readicti 902 Author Share Posted March 31, 2015 An example of a notable character would be: Phaedrus Lle'hileia - Wood elven leader of the Elberu'cinhir military force. Successfully led a revolt against the High Elven dominated government of Haelun'or, capturing the city of Annil'sul and forming the state of Laureh'lin out of what remained. He has since vanished into obscurity. ((Sorry to choose the elves, just happen to be the page I was on.)) And an example of full cities could be anything from this to a full summary and set up of the town. As for history, i'm always looking for something along the lines of this but I will welcome a list with a small summary and general dates. I added a list of the towns that I'm specifically missing at this point but we are always accepting anything from Athera (which I always need as it's our current map), as well as a nice set up for human history, as most seem to be biased towards a House side, and dwarves. But, yeah, I think the wiki is awesome but it could use some improvement. And I guess that's what we're doing. I'm asking to be messaged so that the summary isn't lost. ^^ Kalamoot and I will be going through the Wiki to thread all the pages together, getting rid of entire unneeded pages, as well as rewriting some more biased history.
