So, I made the thread; https://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/125171-community-meeting-2-regions/ and in it I explained that we need to discuss regions because I want the communities input, currently there are a tonne of threads and I have read over most, though I would like to have it put in a centralized area.

If you made a thread, please instead of just posting the link also add a small summary of what you would like, also please note that there is a meeting regarding this on the 18th of April, @ 7pm EST on the LotC TeamSpeak and if you would rather have a much smoother experience (as in, speaking with me) then show up there.

Though if you cannot for one reason or another, or simply want to write what you want here and then speak about it at the meeting, please feel free to do so.

The ending segment which contains a brief summary:

to quote my good friend im8yz, even if he is from England (disgusting, I know), the list is short and sweet.

- 4 Major regions, Orc, Human, Elf and Dwarf.

- All major regions are directly controlled by that nation's leader and those whom that leader decides.

- Leaders, and only those with permission from the leader, are allowed to request subregions from GMs.

- All other people wishing to make their own stuff, must do it away from the central sphere, in the wild.

- There should be no free build areas on the central continent, where the majority of RP hubs will be.

- Remove all trace of Nexus regions.

Undeniable conquest warclaims are a must, unless, of course, people enjoy prolonged wars ruled from OOC perspectives, rather than risky and fun warclaims. The idea of a valid “Casus Beli” is even more ridiculous than the use of latin in 2015; with the amount of war in the past 100-200 years rply, just about every faction has some grudge to bear against every other one.

These are just basic outlines, of course, and I hope to go into further depth come the TS meeting.

In regards to Nexus regions

  1. Establish clear national borders, grant nation leaders total autonomy within them.
  2. Keep pillars/build perms/activity statistics/taxation. Good tools for leaders.
  3. Remove activity checks and GM intervention in plots.
  4. Stop all these roadside plots. They were terrible in Aegis, terrible in Anthos, terrible now.

I already stated my stance on it. It spreads out roleplay, it's horribly restrictive, and it's annoying to maintain.

Get rid of it and give us the 95% freebuild land that was promised to us.

It would help if you elaborated instead of "I stated my opinion." and as for the 95% of land that you feel was taken away from you personally, do remember that Athera isn't a small map but the regions where everything is is cluttered together, the wilds make up 95% of the map which is all indeed freebuild but I am not defending it, simply explaining that the 95% freebuild was given, just not the way that you were hoping.
