DECREE OF ABDICATION, 1512

By order of His Lordship, Count Athelstan II. Stafyr of Werdenburg, the titles of the COUNTY OF WERDENBURG, PATRIARCH OF THE HOUSE OF STAFYR, and all other titles befalling both are hereby transferred to Thomas Stafyr, son of Lord Symon I. Stafyr. From this day and till the abdication or death of the now Count Thomas I. Stafyr of Werdenburg, these titles are to remain his possession and within his own bloodline, as is written in Orenic Law and in the Book of Ashford.

Due to the succession law changes during the reign of Emperor Tobias I. Carrion, Athelstan of Stafyr had taken the role as Lord of Werdenburg per request by His Imperial Majesty. Now, as the succession laws have been renewed to its original state, Athelstan of Stafyr recognizes his grieve error and gives his titles to the de jure Lord of Werdenburg: Baron Thomas I. Stafyr of Stegar.

As is also stated, the split between the House of Stafyr is no more, its cousin branches of Stafyr of Werdenburg and Stafyr of Stegar considered mended and the family united once more.

AS IS DECREED FROM THE ROOST OF WERDENBURG,

AND AS IS SIGNED BY LORD ATHELSTAN II. STAFYR.

-Count Athelstan II. Stafyr of Werdenburg
