Restoring The Lost

The thick, heavy, dense desert air filled Warchief's Kahn's lungs as he woke up, laying on the sand in the early hours of the morning. He looked over to his clan whom were scattered across the ground. They were yet to start the construction of the Braduk settlement. The Warchief rose, rolling his shoulders and brushing sand from his clothes. He grabbed the legendary Hammer of Braduk, and began walking. He had a promise to keep.

A ways away from where the orcs of Braduk were resting, the famous rhinos of the Braduk clan slumbered. They were many, they were large and they were vicious. Several orc corpses littered on the sand, non-Braduks who strayed to close to the beasts. They killed anybody whom they did not recognize, unless instructed otherwise. Kahn sauntered over, and looked at several rhino calfs. Out of the large herd, he picked seven young calfs, their horns just beginning to petrude through their skin. They were already quite large, and each bore a similar blue-grey hide. Kahn grabbed at all of their reigns, then mounted his own rhino, Gore, muttering something foreign to the rhinos. The pack moved on.

After a few hours of traveling through the blistering desert, Kahn and the rhinos arrived at the borders o Yar territory. Several grunts came out to greet him. They were hostile at first, but quickly realised who he was and his relation to the clan. The grunts led Kahn and the rhinos through to where the Wargoth Malog Yar stood, looking a blue prints for several builds. Kahn dismounted, tugging on the reigns of the calfs, who grumbled and grunted. They were too young to have grown attachment to the Braduk clan, so they all looked at each orc around them with the same blankish yet mildly displeased facial expression.

"Malog, I've come to keep my promise. You deserve these beasts, as you and your clan are as much brothers as my Braduks."

Kahn would under any other circumstances, never give rhinos out to a non-Braduk. But the Yars were once Braduks, and were considered true and pure blood brothers. They were the only non-Braduk orcs who knew how to tame and ride the rhinos, any body else, the rhinos would simply trample to death.

Malog Looks up from his parchments and blueprints to see the Braduks entering his lands with their herd of rhinos. Upon seeing the visitors, he throws off his usually grim stoicism in exchange for a gracious smile and a hearty "Throm'ka!" As Kahn dismounts, Malog approaches, claps his hands firmly on the warchief's shoulders and delivers a welcoming headbutt. During the tragic absence of the Braduk clan from the War Nation, the Yars had been the keepers and protectors of the secrets to training the Braduk rhinos. The few rhinos which remained in the hands of the Yar clan were long considered the last of their species, until the triumphant return of the Braduks. Their return to the nation and their gift to the Yars mark the beginnings of great times for both of these clans. Malog gratefully accepts Kahn's gift, "A thowzand rulgz, mi bruddah! Et ez a hozh ting dat da Bradukz hab return'd tu da Uzg. Mey der alwehz bi bub'hozh bruddahuud bitwiin mi klan agh latz klan. Mi am alwehz hozh tu dem whu am hozh tu mi, bruddah. Yars! Wi prepayr a givt fur da Braduk klan! A hozh ting fur a hozh ting!" He soon begins thinking up plans for a rhino cave, and sends a goblin to go find Pheadrus to start planning a gift of his own to return the favor for the Braduk clan's generosity.
