Giant Mushrooms Not Dropping Shrooms.

Alright, so upon growing a giant mushroom, it seems it doesn't drop any mushrooms from it at all. At first I assumed it was a rare farming drop thing, so I got a hoe out and started whacking it, only to get no mushrooms, and my hoe durability stay the same, where as it should of gone down if I was breaking a farming related crop/block. Then I decided to try lumber-jacking as the skill to harvest it. I summoned over my Aengulic lumberjack with his diamond axe to do it for me... only to get nothing. 

 

I assume this is a bug, since you could do this back on Athera, plus you should be able to do it anyway, since it's a MC mechanic. Was just wondering if there was reasoning behind why I didn't get anything.

If I'm correct, it is tied tot he lumberjacking skill.

 

Breaking mushroom blocks will give you lumberjacking XP, so maybe the drop rte is tied to that?

If that was the case, then I'm surprised a Aengulic lumberjack got absolutely nothing with a diamond axe.
