The Ancient Mali have known to have existed upon the Isles of Vailor for a very long time. Their ruins are mysterious, and sometimes hidden from the naked eye. This was not the case with a sepulcher within the Mali'ame Island, which was built to impress whomever laid eyes upon it's picturesque architecture. The entrance to this ruin held only a round door, with an Emerald in the middle. The Emerald was still intact despite it's age, and even gave off a hue of green light. Within the center was a cavity, shaped as a keyhole.

But where was this key?

The key was in the possession of the Mali'ame of Laureh'lin, whom found it after exploring a coastal cave. This key was the gateway to two ruins upon the Island - One a decayed underground ruin, one the sepulcher they ventured into recently. When they entered this vast hall dedicated too the dead, they'd awoken a powerful beast. Each step they took down the stairwell leading to the final entrance of the catacomb led to more, and more danger. Once they obliviously ignored any possibility of a threat and placed the Emerald Key within the last entrance's hole, they guaranteed their own impending suicide. The Ancient Mali are inexplicable. Not much is known about them, except for their vast monuments and cities they once lived within. Once they entered, they found more about their ancestor's past... But, it was grim. The ones whom roamed the halls they stepped upon were alive - They lived and breathed, had hands and legs, could walk and talk... Although, they were corrupted. An act of atrocity has turned them into living abominations; feral beasts. They were not welcoming to their fellow Mali, and instead found an belligerent approach more satisfiable for themselves. There were ten of the Feral Beasts, whom hacked and slashed at the Mali, managing only to wound but not kill. One by one they were slain by the Mali'ame blades, falling dead upon their ancestors ground.

It was then they took what was not theirs.

They opened the coffins and tombs great and prestigious Mali rested in, taking their prized possessions in an act of preserving their own history. They then stepped upon the most displayed tomb, one upon a platform as an indication of it's importance. They opened it, revealing the skeletal remains of a once great Mali. He wore nothing, except an Amulet - Within it held one of the greatest Gem's, and also a dark past. How shall an object tell the unsuspecting Mali that you should not touch? They oblivious Chancellor took it, but did not see it's history. They've angered their ancestors into an unrelenting rage, which triggered something ghastly. Just when the Mali'ame were about to exit the sepulcher, the Feral Elves wanted to take back what was theirs. One by one, these savage beasts poured from holes within the walls, tunnels which they constructed to safeguard such objects. They did not stop after four, seven or even twenty - They grew and grew in numbers. It was not long until they started to lead an onslaught against the civilized Mali'ame, attempting to reclaim the lost and slit their throats. Their numbers grew, as it would never stop the ongoing engagement of battle. It lasted for many hours, leading to the deaths of hundreds of Feral Mali.

But, it was no use.

The Feral Mali trying to reclaim what was theirs failed, the other Mali escaping their narrow grasp. They resorted to sealing the once doors that prohibited them from the surface, this time using it to their own ascendancy over the ruin. They fled for once, but it was not in defeat. The abominations could never accept defeat as an option, as it would crumble their very reputation and fear.

That is why they shall march soon, and crumble the surface Mali'ame to the ground, where their Ancestors lay dead.

Archibald recalls his fights with the Feral Elves, shaking his head. "Exterminate those degenerate, lanky savages . . . "

"Wait was that racist?"
