1 1393 Share Posted July 19, 2015 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ulQTFnBo8SI The chilling waves beat against the Dwarven shore as the group gathered. The group prepairing itself for a difficult hunt, in an attempt to take down a voidal horror known as the “Nexus Stalker”. Preparing their weapons of choice, they set off, after a short series of introductions. Following down the long and winding Dwarven path, with notes and maps in hand their feet brushed against the gravel, dust knocking behind them as they walked in silence. The Nexus Stalker followed them as they went, stalking its prey, waiting for its next meal. Easily getting lost, they searched for a large sum of time, eventually coming upon a plain that fit the directions of the bounty. The group followed the path, searching for any sign that could be seen. After a long journey they spotted the beast, sitting atop the hillside for it to only dash away, into a peculiar landscape, torn asunder by the ruptures from the void. The group hid behind a tree, the sun slowly rising as the beast would seem to not notice them. Whispers were made across the hiding place, discussing a plan of how to take on the beast. It was eventually decided that Arayon would create a conjured distraction whilst the swordsmen went in on it. Arayon took a few cautious steps forwards, raising his ancient scepter higher into the air as the gems within his bracer started to emit a strange aquatic hue. An interesting frost would seep out of the gems within it, slowly forming a sizable blob of frost, dancing about the scepters head. With a sudden flick of the wrist the frost shot forwards, in quick freezing streams it formed up in front of the beast. It would appear to simply form a blob, until hind libs would shoot out of the blob, along with a strange tail. The creature would continue to form, front limbs slowly creeping it’s way out of the front of the blob and a head peaking it’s way out. The body of it would slowly tighten, forming into what would appear to be solid ice. The peculiar squirrel would walk next to the shard of voidal origins, until it walked in front of the beast; gracefully brushing it’s tail against it’s chin, tempting it. The beast would quickly open it’s mouth, chomping down upon the creature as swordsmen sneaked their way behind the beast. Blades would slice the beast quickly, chopping off it’s tail with an abrupt movement, only for the swordsmen to be injured. As strange arcane energy warped around the beast, followed by a large flash the beast shifted across the area, across from the group. The battle continued, with arcane attacks hitting the beast, only to be converted into mana to have no effect. Swords sliced at the beast, arrows were sent flying while members of the group were picked off, one by one. The remaining members of the group chased it across the cliff, for it to retreat to one of the voidal shards. Strange arcane energy seeped it’s way out of the shard, surronding the beast, converging upon it’s wounds. The energy would continue to build up, giving off a strange glow as Arayon climbed onto the shard cautiously, jumping down onto the beast from above with blade in hand. As Arayon clashed with the beast, that blade seeped it’s way into the beasts skin. A large flash could be seen coming off of the beast, as electrical energy is sent flying around it, heading towards Arayon as he is sent flying off of it, far away. His body lands upon the ground with a large puff of dirt, electricity coarsing through his body as it would appear to go through something akin to a seizure upon the ground. The blade that had hit the beast would seep it’s way out of it, covered in it’s strange blood. The beasts wounds had healed as the arcane energy seeped away from the beast, returning to the crystal. With shouts of fear the remaining group retreated up the hill, leaving Arayon to rest there as he faced up, his eyes open in shock as his fingers would continue to twitch. The beast turned, it’s eyes set upon Arayons helpless soul as it carefully moved it’s way over to him. The beast hovered above him, preparing to strike. Arayons eyes lit with pure fear, as the bracer’s gems upon his arm lit once more. A strange essence seeped it’s way out of the gems, forming in between the two. The essence continued to build, as the beast suddenly snapped at Arayons neck, for him to let out a shriek of pain as the orb of voidal essence exploded into a large current of frost and wind, knocking the beast away. Yet the beast was not knocked away with no reward, it held Arayon in it’s jaw, bleeding as the beast stared at the rest of the group. Arayons lifeless corpse was thrown to the side, hitting the ground as any non animate object would. Blood seeped out of his dead corpse, finding the ground with a trickle. With that, Arayon had died, at the will of a beast of the void. Arayon has been my main character for quite some time now, and he was my first character that had actually made any form of a difference. I've been considering doing this for quite some time now, and I guess that this is it for him. Arayon started out as my Snow Elf, working his way up within the Fenns ranks until Iblees had returned. He was tortured until he joined their ranks, aiding the cult in many ways. Once Iblees had fallen he was left from it's clutches, no longer forced to infiltrate other groups at the Daemons will. Since then Arayon has really been homeless, not able to find a proper group until he settled with the Dwarves, adopting their culture. And now, it is time for his ending. I have had a lot of good times on Arayon, from creating countless friends from the Snelves to the Dwarves, to killing a Wood Elf for his kidney. I have also had quite a good amount of bad times on him, that have lead to my past blacklist over many matters. I would like to say that I have improved from that, but I can't really decide from that as people still accuse me of things from the past. Anyways, this is Arayons perma-kill. So RIP Arayon.

Mephistophelian 977 Share Posted July 19, 2015 "His name...What was his name..?" Memories of a man, innocent and not without a certain wit about him, welled up, only to be shoved away by other ones, of another person, another place, another time. "Arayon. Yes. It doesn't matter..." Lorien released a sigh. "Yet another person so far away, yet closer than I am to anyone else." The voice was full of forlorn longing; that of a man who has not seen home for too many years. The few times we did RP was quite nice, and I hope you will enjoy RPing as your next character! R.I.P.
