What is roleplaying?: Act of playing a character that is not me. Having a story and acting as the character I’m portraying.

What is metagaming?: This term is new to me but after reading about it I can see why it’s called that. Metagaming is very hard to describe without copying it from your site. However, I’ll give it a try. Making decisions or proceeding with an action that my character has no way of knowing without having it been learned from either another character (in RP) or discovering while exploring (in character).

What is powergaming?: Basically feeling like nothing can stop you.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

 

 

Alaanthir Venolam lost his memory when he reached the age of 26, just after reaching maturity. He found himself in a forest alone, laying atop of a round stone with the moonlight shimmering on the running water around him. Ever since then he’s heard of the isolation of the high elves and the plague in Asulon. Much of the events that transpired before this day were long gone. The only memory that was preserved was of his mother’s face. Barely visible in the ocean of bright light that surrounded her and another being that he can’t recall. His father…or perhaps a sibling?

 

Since that day, Alaanthir has lived the life of a scholar, a creature of knowledge and exploration. He witnessed many conflicts between the nations and the elves, the end of Asulon and Anthos, the rise and fall of the undead, and the first people of Caliphate and Salvus. He is a charismatic elf, making friends of all races and ages. But something stirs within him. He has a gift. A gift for magic, alchemy, and auras. What frightens him the most is not knowing why he dreams of the other Alaanthir. Or perhaps a twin? A rare occurrence for an elf.
