The Carrot Company

 

History:

In the days of Aegis, a young Wood Elf by the name of Orgeron found himself fighting alongside house Green. When he wasn’t training he was tending to his carrot farm, however, one fateful night he was betrayed by his liege. His carrot garden and home burned to the ground by the house he was sworn to protect. Therefore turning to the only thing he knew… Carrots. He began worshiping The Holy Carrot, blessed by the druids to be undying. Eventually, he had a child, who would later become the famed Carrot Knight, Orgmar. Orgeron would nay be there to see the honorable ceremony that his son would go through, though, as he was eventually hunted down and killed by the house he once served. Ser Orgmar would carry on his father’s tradition by building the Carrot Shrine of Akovia. He went about the lands, spreading the word of The Carrot and The Creator, as he made vaillant triumphs in battle for Oren and her allies. Eventually, he would become a Knight of Lorraine, serving the Duke d'Amaury. Here the Company was formed, sworn to protect d’Amaury’s and The King’s lands alike.

 

Role:

 

Role in Oren: Protectors of Oren against any force that threatens her or her people. Any defiling of carrots, results in immediate, and direct action from The Carrot Company. Furthermore, the company seeks to create ties among the territories of Oren as to spread its influence.

 

Role in Lorraine: Footman are to act as the Garrison of Summerhall. The duchy, being the primary cropland of Oren, is patrolled heavily by the Carrot Company as to safeguard the precious carrots that grow there. Members seek glory and wealth, acting as a personal soldiery for d’Amaury and The Carrot Knight in their quests for honor, wealth, and power.

 

Ranks:

 

Knightly Ranks:

Seedling (Squire): Young men who wish to train in the crafts of battle in the hopes to one day become Knighted.

Golden Carrot (Knight): Second in command in the Company. In charge of training squires and leading raids, skirmishes, and battles in the absence of The Carrot Lord.

Carrot Knight (Knight Commander): The leader of The Carrot company. In charge of the entire company. In direct service to House d’Amaury.

 

Normal Ranks:

Baby Carrot (Recruit): Newly enlisted soldier, who has shown some proficiency in combat. Time is primarily spent training.

Carrot (FootMan): A seasoned and trusted warrior, who has displayed prowess in battle. Expected to follow orders precisely and without question.
