IN NOMINE DEI

With deepest grief is this body, the Synod of His Holiness Daniel II, caused to proclaim the temporary vacancy of the spiritual throne of the Exalted Horen. During his travels from the Holy See into the capital of our worldly patron, it occurred that His Holiness has passed beyond our knowledge. In this year-long absence, the flocks of men have been shepherded by the Curia and Synod of His Holiness, and in this period of sede vacante, their roles shall persist until the enthronement of a new High Pontiff, duly elected. Let it be that the appropriate pontifical duties shall continue to be administered by each representative of His Holiness, and that the five members of the Synod shall convene promptly and be cloistered until the election of a new High Pontiff, maintaining their ancient right to choose to fill vacant Pentarchal seats. We pray for the grace of GOD, that He may guide our hand as He has guided it before, and that Daniel II may pass into the gates of the Seven Skies with the dignity of the first holder of his office.

SIGNED, BY THEIR EXCELLENCIES THE PENTARCHS

Iosif of Roiye
Renauld of Metz
Edmond of Eastcliffe
Adrian of Kaedrin
Oscar of Norfolk
