How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? My cousin texted me about it and I immediately started typing my FIRST application.

What is roleplaying?: roleplaying is taking on the form of a new character and personality in a virtual world

What is metagaming?: metagaming is when you have your character react to a piece of information that your character could not possibly know. Like lets say you were in  a dungeon fighting a dragon then suddenly one of the other players asks for help in chat and you decide to stop fighting the dragon and run to aid that player. Your player does not have some sort of HUD that all the chat messages pop up on so they would have no way of knowing that that player needed help

What is powergaming?: powergaming refers to the word "overpowered" I'm  sure you've heard of it. In the context of powergaming it means that you are making your character do things that cannot be normally done. Like killing 10 people with one punch or being stomped on by a dragon and not dying. Or playing like you are god. Powergaming is having your character doing things that "don't give either side time to react"- excerpt from the wiki

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

 

Character’s name: Ven Edain

Character’s sex: Male

Character’s race: Human, Highlander

Character’s age: 32

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): 

 My characters name is Ven, a Human Highlander. He was born and raised in the realm of Athera, in a small establishment within the forest of Adrallan. His mother died giving birth to him so now its just him and his father. His father is very proficient in swordsmanship and archery. On Ven's 16th birthday his father taught him everything he knew... The next morning 6:00 sharp his father woke him up and took him to the woods. They would do this every morning. They would wake up a 6:00 sharp and set up targets on trees in the forest. His father handed him a bow and told him to run past the targets and hit as many as possible. So he did. They trained like this for 3 months. Then one morning Ven  hit all the targets point on the bulls-eye. His father grabbed his arm and said “you are ready”

 

His father took him into the woods and they went farther then Ven had ever been before. When it got dark they built a campfire, and his father told him stories. Some that he had already heard, and some he had not. He told stories of great victory's and great defeats, of monsters and ally's that had each others back and weapons of uncertain power that had been passed down for generations. At last they both got tired and fell asleep. When Ven awoke his father took him deeper into the woods, to an enormous magical tree. His father took out a shovel and started digging. Ven and his father forced a large chest out of the ground. This chest made of wood and metal looked somehow untouched by the must have been hundreds of years it was siting in the earth, buried. His father handed Ven an odd looking key and the chest opened at the slightest touch of the key. His father pulled out an elven bow made of the finest materials. His father looked at Ven and said “Here you are my son, use it carefully”

 

Ven's father then taught him the art of concealment in the wild. His father took him to a particularly bushy part of the forest and told him to hide while he turned around. Ven hid in a ditch behind a bush his father looked pointed him out and said “too obvious” Ven trained at this for a week. Then that week turned into 2 weeks, and that turned into 6 weeks, and that into 1 month and that into 2 months, and that into a year, and that into 2 years. Finally when his father could no longer point him out he said “Good job son, I'm proud.”

 

When Ven was a grown man he took one of their finest horses and set out to go on an adventure. He tangled with many ferocious orcs, goblins, and many others beasts. In his adventures he visited The Caliphate, Urguan, Goodborough, and Crownlands.  He decided to travel to the homestead of his Uncle who lives minutes away from the orcish savannah who has sent word that orc raids are getting more and more common. So when he arrived one was already in progress he jumped off his horse and helped fend off the attack. His Uncle had been fighting off the attacks with his own sons, and neighbors sons. His Uncle and Ven decided that this needed to stop. With Ven's help they gathered men from near and far to fight against the orc attackers and stop it once and for all. They ambushed the orcs on their next attack. They continued to fight for 1 and a half years but the orcs seemed to just replace their dead with fresh meat. Eventually the humans where out numbed 20 to 1 and so they spread apart and ran. Ven took of on his horse. He hoped his adventure was over, but really his adventure starts here.

Personality Traits: Ven is heroic. Very, heroic. He has put his life before others many a time. In this large battle against un-humanly creatures he lost many friends that he could not save. That battle hardened him to the core. He has seen many deaths but has taken just as many in return...

Ambitions: His ambitions are to continue to help the innocent and slay the evil that plagues this world.

Strengths/Talents:  proficient in hiding himself in the wild, because he was running and hiding from orcs for 2 years.

Weaknesses/Inabilities:  he has trouble seeing the evil in people because he is so tired of looking for it. he is battle hardened and has trouble showing his emotions.

Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight):  He has brown scraggly hair a small beard, green eyes and a battle scar across his left cheek he is 5" 11 and weighs 178 lbs. He has an athletic build but is not ripped. Appearance, please provide us a screenshot of your character’s skin (If you need help, see our screenshot guide here):
