The Absorption of the Ardridom of Hiraeth

-={}=-

It is his will, Jarl Fimlin Grandaxe of Avar. That with the lack of stability and order in the Adunian city-state, the Ardridom of Hiraeth is henceforth absorbed into the Jarldom of Avar.

This decision has been long on the minds of the Jarl, and now that almost no Adunians still inhabit the land, and no government to rule all Adunian lands on the Isle are now under the direct administration of the Jarl of Avar Fimlin Grandaxe, with approval from the Grand King.

The Adunian peoples will be able to live with relative autonomy and will not be taxed as of yet, further information can be obtained by contacting Jarl Fimlin.

If any Adunian or inhabitant of Hiraeth believes that he can revive the city and is able to gain enough support then arrangements can be made through contacting the Jarl.

[For those who are concerned, do not be, I am now a region owner of the region and I will not start looting you're homes, this is a post to begin to restore Hiraeth to activity, I've been trying to contact Adunian leadership for some time and without response, I understand school is a busy time, this absorption is not necessarily permanent.]

The Defacto owner of Hiraeth, Arnorian Elendil pens a letter.

"What the council says, the Monarchy supports."

"Scincerely, Arnorian Elendil."

**A letter arrives by messenger on the doorstep of Fimlin Grandaxe**

Jarl Fimlin,

It would have been much appreciated if you had contacted remaining members of the government in Hiraeth about this. We are indeed still in existence and have been working to revitalize the city. It takes a good deal of work and effort. Recently we posted a notice about trying to raise a law-keeping force within the lands we hold, that should show that we are trying to do something and I am impressed you missed that. If you were to have visited the city you may have noticed the gates are closed but I imagine you know how to get in and would see evidence that the council is indeed active in its efforts. We have been dealing with a loss of direction after Lord Elendil disappeared.

We are indeed looking to get the city going again and wish that you would speak with us directly rather than making a decision over us without consulting us. I’ve attempted to make contact with you in person yet have never actually been able to find you or, for that matter any member of your clan, at your town on the west end of the island.

I ask that you come and speak with me about this topic in the near future.

Robert Fenwick

Chancellor, Council of Hiraeth

[[I missed your spoiler. I contacted you and work got in the way of getting online at the same time as you did. Outside of me contacting you a while back, I've heard nothing of you contacting us. I've made a post about the reforming of the government in Hiraeth.]]

Fimlin Grandaxe,

I will speak with individual council members to determine a time. But we will most certainly be able to meet at our next council meeting. I will advise you on when that will occur. If we are unable to find a time that will work for all of us, perhaps you and I can sit down and deliberate this ourselves and I can bring back topics for the council's opinions.

Fimlin sends back a reply

"That sounds fine to me, and the rest of my clan, write back to me when you have figured out a time for the meeting."
