Have you read and agreed to the rules?: I have read all of the rules and I agree with all of them. :)

What’s the rule you agree with the most?:  “It is the responsibility of the Player to maintain understanding of the existing rules as the Staff Teams update them.” I agree with this rule the most because it exposes the need for members to stay interacting with the staff on the server. It also helps people keep having the best role-play experience they can have.

Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?(If so we can help clear it up! You will not be denied for having a question on the rules): Nope, I understand all of the rules very clearly!

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?  Through A couple of friends on a different server!

 

Definitions

Feel free to Google the answers or browse our forums, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person!

 

What is roleplaying?: Pretending to be another character or person besides yourself for fun or occasionally practical uses. Like theatre!

What is metagaming?: Metagaing is when you, the player, know something and use it to your advantage that your character normally wouldn't know. As if you knew about an upcoming event that was happening, and you used the fore-knowledge of it to get a head start or advantage.

What is powergaming?: Powergaming is doing something that your character wouldn't normally be able to do and/or ignoring something that another character has emoted to better yourself in combat. Using the emotes to your advantage and doing things that would not normally work.

In-Character Information

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Character’s race: Elvish (Sub race: High Elf)

Character’s age: 23

Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

 

Abandoned as a child, by his parents, scared of their own child. Arangoth grew up near a small river bed in which he did not know the name. With no mother or father, he was found by a druid and was taught to walk, and to speak. He was a strange boy, with bright blue eyes. He lived in a tree by the river bed, only able to talk to the birds and the fish around him, but they did not talk back. One day, he lashed out at the beasts There he sat for years on end, not knowing anything about the world around him. The druids taught him the very basics of life, everything that would help him survive, and be at least seen as normal for those who were not looking hard enough. The druids feared his dark side, and helped him to contain it. But even they could not do such a thing.

One day, the druids stopped coming back. He assumed because he grew to dark. The fish began to thin out of the pond, and the birds stopped singing. Afraid, but with no other option, he Decided to step foot into the world of men and other creatures. He went forth not knowing what lies ahead of him. Fearing for what society can hold for him. And searching for a way to possibly find his mother and father, and contain his darker side. Everything he saw in his path was fresh, and new. Brightly colored flowers and plants he had never seen before, and creatures that had never roamed across the plain of which he had lived it.

During his travels, Arangoth will struggle with the darkness that corrups his heart. Something lurks deep within him that gives him a split personality that he cannot control. So, he decided to take a step into the real world by entering the city of Laurelin, which was in the Mali'ame nation of Laureh'lin. He spent time there studying and learning eventually going out to see the world, all the way from the Caliphate in the south to the northern lands of Salvus.

Personality Traits: Calm, Curious, (Insane under certain circumstances. Such as, sees any sort of undead creature, or daemon.)

Ambitions: He wants to see all the sights to see, and travel far across the lands. He wishes to discover all there is about the world he lives in.. and To become one of the strongest Necromancers there is.

Strengths/Talents: He’s very observant and quite strong

Weaknesses/Inabilities: He's very curious, and often finds himself in a very outlandish positions or nearly dead in traps.

Well, it's an improvement, but it still needs fixing:

• Your powergaming definition is quite vague.
• Your age is kinda off. By your set age, your character is still living in Asulon! Check the calendar here: http://wiki.lordofthecraft.net/Time+and+Calendars
• Your biography is kinda "jumpy" to say. You turned from a standard explorer raised by druids to a person with an evil secret within him. And then you jump back to your explorer dreams after a sentence. If you do have a dark secret within, make more story to it from the beginning. I have seen your previous apps, so I know that part was not even touched, as the only thing removed was "being connected to Iblees"
