How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? I was simply browsing for new fantasy RP Minecraft servers, and I came across Lord of The Craft on Google.

What is roleplaying?: Taking the role of a fictional character, and playing through their perspective (usually fantasy/science-fiction), while interacting with other role-players, and the fictional environment.

What is metagaming?: The knowledge of a particular in-game event or action, without hearing or knowing about it from the game itself. For example, if an event occurred in-game (e.g. someone stole from your house), and someone contacted another person involved in means other than in-game (e.g. through Facebook messaging), and the second person learning about the event through other means (e.g. Facebook), that would be Metagaming.

What is powergaming?: When you 'over power' a person in order to avoid a specific action to take place by ignoring roleplay consequences or outcomes. E.g. someone who can withstand an excess amount of pain in RP (unnatural and overpowered).

 

In-Character Information

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Althalos is a rather tall, stern looking gentleman and a tactful, stubborn and self-reliant Heartlander. This isn't surprising considering for someone with his gruesome past. He was born and grew up in a family of 4 children (including Althalos, who was the eldest), in the slums of Felsen. He lived without worry until he was about 7, but at that point, things took a turn for the worst. He lost his parents and two siblings in the plague of 1526, and was shunned. His baby brother was near death, and Alhalos had no choice but to leave him. Alone, with no one to look after him, he had to survive in an unkind world, but with his vigour and capability, he managed to keep ahead of the curve and conquer all fears and doubts. This has made him into the man he is today. With the lessons of the past, he is now a rogue man, living in , hoping to serve his land well, when inevitable war approaches. He loves his emperor, John Frederick Horen wholeheartedly, and would give his life for him, in war, if need be.

He is barrel-chested, and displays his dominance over others. He showcases power and strength through his many scars which are jotted along his face and body, and is an omnipotent swordsman. He learnt to fight on his own in fighting pits, earning his betters great wealth and fortune. He is quick to act, strongly built, and has the senses of immortal man. He does not rush into a battle he knows he may lose, and carefully lays out the possibilities of the fight, and the possible outcomes of each scenario, giving him a psychological edge over his opponents. He is a strategist, and is known to outplay his enemies physically and mentally. He is now a sellsword, looking for work, wherever he can find bidders for his service. To this day, he has scarcely lost a fight, and resumes to impress many, with his mighty swordsmanship.

Personality Traits: Short tempered, and merciless. He is stubborn when someone has wronged him, thirsting for their blood, and is relentless to kill them. One mistake can land those who wrong him, into an early grave, or a spike to rest their heads upon.

Ambitions: To work for a high lord, or even a king. He wishes to put his talents to use on a daily basis, in a fixed job for the highest bidder.

Strengths/Talents: a mighty swordsman, and a great strategist. He is loyal to his rulers, and destroys their enemies without troubles.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: He is not trained in the art of archery. He is a swordsman, and even the sight of a bow, makes him question his true fighting capabilities.

Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): Above average human height, average weight, scars across his face, and bronze-coloured skin. Muscular, and well-built.
