* While many of the inhabitants of the island draw water from fresh water wells, a few of the citizens have mysteriously gotten severely ill & and a few even sent off the the cloud temple monks for immediate treatment.

Stranger yet, instances of dying animals in the southern areas of the canal reaching into the ocean, around the shorelines, the banks of the Citadel, Fi'ceru and possibly even Orcish territory have become a reoccurring sight.

1... 2... Few by few some of the mali'aheral have began wearing ancient fixings, perhaps fearful of another plague epidemic. However the harsh environmental effects do not seem to be incredibly potent, at least not as potent as the time of the first reported instances.

What will happen? Will the mystery of the blighted waters be solved or has the ecosystem simply changed? We can only wait to find out! *

(( I think it's cool you guys are giving us an event! ))

The sixteen year old child that was 'adopted' away from the island returns after hearing what had happened. She wonders to herself, would the fresh water sources on the island be safe. She figures in her head that since salt water from the sea doesn't taint the fresh water with salt, then surely the two water sources must be separate. Regardless, she simply leaves, as the island now smells like uruk and rank animal corpse. She had difficulty telling which was which. As she boards the ship, she begins to calculate how many weeks until the city had it's stank removed by the churning of the sea. She thought it was clever what the uruk did, but she believes it will fail. They are just silly uruk after all. As she sails away, scanning for uruk on the banks, she considers the fact that humans would suffer more from such an attack. Their high population is more dependent on water and food sources short term. She was glad to see alchemists trying to treat the water though. After all, it would be silly to watch people pollute your water and then go and drink it. Who even drinks salt water anyway? All and all, she just found it strange.
