A Call for Militia

"To those who would take our peace from us, we refuse."

 

 

*Notices are posted throughout Sanctuary, with Prince Izalith occasionally coming to read them aloud.*

 

It is a sad day when those who seek out peace must glance at their blades and question when they must next be drawn. Yet for the peaceful folk of our Sanctuary, I am afraid the day already arises. There are those who have already promised to harass us, to belittle us, and those who unequivocally desire each and every one of our deaths.

 

For this reason, I ask those of you who are versed in violence, by magic or the blade, to pledge yourself to our defense, and join into the Sanctuary Militia until a proper guard force is in order. This force will be an exclusively defensive one, meant to quickly respond to threats in lieu of a guard.

 

In such a place of peace, we understand all trepidation in encouraging needless violence, yet we cannot deny the urgent need to protect what we have forged. It is together that we have made Sanctuary great, and together we shall defend it.

 

For all those willing to join, step forward, and present yourself to Commander Daya (WarsongFarseer).
