ELLOND
The Foreign Lands.

land_of_skyrim_by_jonasdero-d5gctpk.jpg

It is the dawn of a new age, the world collapsing ever slowly into the deathly grip of Molag Bal's ever growing dominion. The races and empires of Tamriel fight in an epic struggle to keep him at bay.

latest?cb=20141106215021
In lands long forgotten and undiscovered settlers and fleeing colonist from Tamriel land in the new continent, filled with deadly creatures and unknown peril. For those arriving to this new land it is a symbol of hope for their people, a new start, a chance to rebuild in peace and prosperity or conquest and tyranny. Should the forces of Tamriel fail in their epic struggle it may fall to the few and brave races that had once fled its destruction, but should it come for them..there will be no escaping their destiny.

far_from_home_by_theminttu-d4mhx18.jpg
For others, the arrival of these new races is seen as a terrible Omen, for stories have long fortold that others would arrive by sea and share the land with those who now and have for ages past called it home, shall bring with them a storm...a terrible shadow will come after and bring about the annihilation of their world as they know it. However, not all people whom call Ellond home see these new arrivals as bringers of destruction, but as allies or saviors to aid in the coming storm that could swallow the world into its deathly grasp.

War is coming, allies and foes now work diligently for their own survival.
Should the Tales be true...all must stand, or all shall fall.

Ellmer

Vyzna stepped onto his balcony, and looked about at his people below him. Then he looked up, and watched for what little sunlight was able to penetrate the thick canopy. The breeze held the sweet scent of spring. Vyzna stepped away from the railing, and slowly walked back into his house, where his wife, Refni, was preparing lunch for the day. Vyzna lowered himself slowly into his chair, and sighed. Elves certainly had long lives, and Vyzna was reaching the end of his. Refni set lunch on the table, and called to the children. Their 3 children dashed to the table, and took their seats.

Their son sat to Vyzna’s immediate right. Their son wasn’t very interested in magics, but was an exceptional swordsman, and showed incredible leadership, and compassion. Thier youngest daughter was taking sword fighting lessons from him, and though she looked like she could barely hold a sword, she was making good progress. Thier eldest child, a girl, had brought a book to the table, which wasn’t very unusual, and studied, even while eating, being careful not to spill lunch onto her book.

Vyzna looked around the table. His son, and youngest daughter, were having an imaginary sword fight. His eldest daughter glanced up, and met his eyes over the book, before giving him a small smile, and setting the book down.

“Father, you seem to be in high-spirits today. Has something good happened?”

Vyzna chuckled and shook his head. “No, my dear, today has just been a good day. The wind is light, the animals are calm, and-”

From outside shouting could be heard. Vyzna’s son dashed to the window, and looked out.

“It seems a messenger has been sent. It sounds as though the message is for you, Father.”

Vyzna slowly stood up, and walked to the door, waiting for the messenger. The messenger, out of breath, handed him a note, breathing heavily. Vyzna handed the boy a drink, and opened the note.

Ships have been sighted landing on the island. The ships seem to have a multitude of designs. We are unable to identify as friend or foe.

Vyzna set the note on the table, and stepped to the balcony. With a shout, the town below him turned to watch, and listen.

“I have recieved an important message today. Today, this island of Ellond has been set upon by foreigners. These people may come as friends, or as foes! We must stand together, with our arms open and waiting, in the hopes of friendship, but we most also stand, weapons drawn and ready, in case we must fight. This land is our home, and we will not stand to lose it to those driven by greed and hatred! We will only allow those with peaceful intentions to remain on this island!”

With that, a shout went up from the crowd, and the people below began buzzing with energy. Vyzna walked back into his house, and faced his son.

“You, my boy, are part of our armies. What I say to you, I want you to take to heart. We may soon be to war. I want you, and all of your men ready.”

Vyzna’s son nodded, and dashed off to alert his men. Vyzna no longer had an appetite, and asked Refni to clear the table. Refni quickly cleared it, and came to comfort Vyzna.

“Dear… you’ve lead our people for nearly a thousand years now… never have you once, lead them down a path they were unwilling to go.”

Vyzna kissed Refni’s hand, a nodded, his usual smile returning to his face.

“You’re right my dear. Thank you.”

Vyzna’s daughters quietly snuck out of the room, and returned to their lives, praying to Auri-El that those who had come ashore brought only peace.

The Prinicipality of Felicia

http://imgur.com/2yp7TBw

The Principality of Felicia upon hearing the arrival of the new colonists were a little bothered by this but all continued as normal other than a rearmament of the army with brand new spears, shields and armor's along with bows and arrows to supply the small standing army, the reserves able to live peaceful lives with their families. Firstly the need to utilize the Felicia's growing mining industry begins to happen and the Capital of the nation begins to gain proper stone walling and the Prince's and Princesses Home gets a new look. Felicia's navy also undergoes rearmament with stronger boats with archers and a boarding party being refitted with the latest gear but only ordered to patrol the waters off the coast.

Inside the capital a growth in agriculture commences, along with the fishing industry as the farms and docks grow and expand to help feed the steadily growing population. The Temple grounds inside the capital also grow to allow more apprentices and novice's to be taught inside the schools while the Military wings of both cities are also refurbished as training begins to get the military back up to par with other nations. Weapon smiths and armor smiths also set to work to supply the military and citizen's with their tools for daily life.

House Telvanni: Tel Holvar

480?cb=20130914082701&path-prefix=pl

Upon arrival, the Dunmer of House Telvanni named the island ''Neloth'' after the great Telvanni wizard and mouth who ended up residing in the isle of Solstheim. Provisional housing in the yurt style was setup while the supplies were being unloaded. All of the wizards and botanists did not focus on practicing the arcane or alchemy, but instead they were setting up the mushroom homes and tower that would come to be the town of Tel'Holvar. The settlers began to setup farms and the local guard/mercenaries/''friends'' decided to walk around the border of they territory the controlled.

Mithrad Ulam was in charge of growing the main wizard tower as he needed a point of central command to work his expansion of the island from. Mithrad had experience with military skirmishes and such as he had fought and commanded raids against ashlanders, but colonization was another animal. He was making sure that the botanists in between growing houses also helped the farmers setup farms as their provisions were set to run out in about a years time.

Mithrad Ulam send out one of the mercenary groups to explore the island and maybe setup on outpost on its eastern side. From what the force could tell the area they landed on was rocky and had patches of forest intermingled with swamp. However, looking from a distance the eastern side of the island seemed to be dense and hilly. The mercenaries that were hired with the promise of homes and freedom with the Telvanni were supposed to setup shop by the border of the forest and the eastern swamp side. Hopefully nothing would happen.....Mithrad sipped his tea whilst looking at the base of his wizard tower.

Jorunn would look at his scout with concern. Minutes prior, the scout stumbled into his clan hall out of breath. He brought news of new comers to the island. Jorunn was not concerned until the word elf was spoken. Elves, Jorunn thought to himself. The last time his people heard of that word was hundreds of years ago. He thought of Ysgamor and the 500 Atmoran's he brought with him to the land of the pale-elves. Joruun whispered to his advisor, Hiedrik. Hiedrik rose from his seat, looking at the now-gathered crown.

"The Chief has ordered all miners to raise their efforts! Get anything that will be useful for weapons!" All workers in the town quickly dispersed and began to do their tasks.

The Grey Blossom

Patriarch Onoalo silently shifted his hand to meet a warm glass of clear water, and let the liquid slip down his dry gullet. He spoke his first word in many generations, a rough and weakened voice that slowly grew more clear and powerful. He gathered his men and the refugees together on the side of the a flowing blue river, the bottom only slightly muddled out of view, but otherwise clear. The lumber of all the ships began to be stripped off to be repurposed into housing. The feeble housing was quickly set up, and progressively the structure improved. Tents slowly went down and replaced by wooden structures.

The monks shifted together the carpenters from the refugees and monks, building the temple as the warmest and most secure building. Weapons were distributed amongst the refugees, and a town militia organized of 100 men. The small garrison in a fishing village in Morrowind they had convinced to tag along also helped out, providing 75 well-armed men.

Seeds that lasted the trip on the ships were planted in the surrounding fields, and canes of sugar growing on the riverside harvested and re-planted. The monks helped organized the refugees to fully get in gear, farmers assigned, men sent to mine in local quarries, and militia told to train with the professional standing garrison. The stone from the quarry being sent off in massive chunks, a statue to azure begins its first stages of being built. Finally several runners were sent off with decent food supplies in different directions, in the hope of finding other civilizations.

Holy Imperian Kingdom of Ellond

Rome_Final.jpg

Lady Maeria walked about the city looking as it had began to be rebuilt into a modern city, she was no Empress but she held the citizens and its soldiers to Imperial Standard. She was no general, or great leader, she was young. She spent most her time in the palace at least the finished sections to learn from her Councillors.

Crops were being planted and fields being worked in the outer laying villages, the capital was bustling with just as much activity. In hopes of remembering the old world and the its greatness the capital was named New Cyrodiil.

In the capital port many of the ships remain being kept up to standard while most of the fleet was scuttled for supplies to initially build the settlement. The 10 that remained simply sat in the port waiting to be put to use.

The Main capital New Cyrodiil sat on the island while the second major settlement was on the coast of the mainland. It was named Tyro's Landing after the late Lord Tyro Vigil.

Now within the Meeting Chambers of the Palace, Lady Maeria, Master Yulaerin, Shield Captain Kaer, and several other minor advisers sit at a table discussing plans and thoughts for the kingdom

Yulaerin sighs rubbing his head "Captain those ships serve no purpose right now, the plans me and Lady Maeria have in place are enough for now, the city workers can't handle anymore projects."

Captain Kaer glares at the Mage "Having your head in books all day doesn't make you-"

Lady Maeria speaks up "Please enough!...this bickering gets us no where. Its difficult enough running this kingdom without my family here, you two arguing isn't going to make things any easier.." she sighs

They looks to her and nod "Apologies your grace."

She looks down at the documents and listings for the projects they now have in place.

Jorunn smirked as he looked at the workers construct their new wall. A quick look to the right, he would find his soldiers training. Hiedrik, who was almost always at his side, was overseeing the expansion of the village. Jorunn walked over to him, and Hiedrik heard him coming over from the all-too-familiar boots crunching snow. "'Ello, Chief. What brings you out here?" the man asked.

"I need you to take our best men and go to the east. That is the closest coast to our village, and we must make sure it is clear. If you find anything, make contact. Do not kill them, however. The last thing we need is a bunch of angry colonists to come breaking down our gate." Jorunn responded. Hiedrik nodded, then called over their cavalry. "Get saddled up, we move west." They all responded with 'aye's or just the nodding of heads. Shortly after, they all came out of the stables. They were all given a provision of food, a weapon, and warm clothes. Hiedrik got on his own horse, which was a gift from Jorunn for his servitude.

"I won't let you down, Jorunn," he remarked.

"I know. Good luck, lad." With that, the 11 men road out of the town, due east.

Tasks:

1. Eleven well equipped men ride east. It is up to the Mods what they find, and if they reach Chamo's settlement.

The news of the large black sailed ships down to the south east worries the small nation and soon scouts are sent down to investigate the ships with up most caution, using specific camouflage to hide themselves in the foliage around the coast while also using the cover of night to hide themselves and move closer.

The Construction projects in the two cities continue to go as planned, walls being erected steadily around the cities and guard posts put along the walls while the military is also trained, focusing mostly on their archery skills and the main troops would wield spears, shields and short swords while the support troops would be the archers, wielding long bows and daggers with lighter designed armor for easier movement while the main troops wear a heavier armor.

A festival is held in the honor of the Prince's birthday, the capital being decorated and a festive vibe flows through the city as everyone enjoys the night with drinks and food.

Tyro: Your Scouts would return to the City, horrible wounded. Several of them would be babbling about strange men wearing painted fur. The few who were silent seemed to have a dead stare. One of them even seemed to be missing his tongue.

Goblin: Your men would return, grumbling about wasted trips. When asked about what they found, they tossed a map to the ground and said they had found nothing more interesting than some large deer, and a small land bridge that seemed to lead to another nearby island.

Both Factions would see a series of large boats on the horizon, heading to the north. Beyond the size and numbers of the ship, nothing else could be noticed.

House Telvanni

latest?cb=20130322084306

Mithrad listened to the hustle and bustle of the colony from his yurt as he read a book on the mysteries of the dwemer, but later he went outside to check on the progress. The botanists and mages were working on growing the wizards tower and the surrounding houses. This was a hard effort as the mushrooms are very hardy and they need  alchemical or arcane help in order to grow faster. Mithrad could not wait for his tower to be built as a Telvanni lord should not be reduced to the living conditions of an Ashlander. He walked around to see the farms being plowed and getting closer to compeletions and he smiled at the thought of eating some actual food that wasn't salted fish and hardtack.

He then went to meetup with his men who found the bridge and gave them extra rations and some coin. Mithrad began to tell them how he wants to them to cross the bridge onto the other island and setup a fortification. He sent a team of 30, 25 of which were a mix of mercenaries and dunmer ,the other 5 were builders. The task was to go several miles past the bridge and setup a fort made of wood and yurt housing, they were to also send one man back every three days to tell Mithrad on the progress of the outpost. His plan on the outpost was to make it a launching point at which they could explore deeper and have more room for his people. He only pondered on what the large boats he saw heading north meant and how it may affect his people, ''it didn't matter'' he told himself. He then sipped his tea while walking inside his yurt.

(This what the fort plans look like.)

MOD POST

URAMER
The Council's Builders report that it will only take a few seasons before everything on the surface is finally finished and completed. (3 Seasons)
Weeks go by as the mages train with the normal soldiers, the training seemed to be going well, but once the mages attempted to fight in such heavy armor and use their magic they quickly discover that their magical abilities are useless in such heavier gear, most give up and return to their far lighter and more basic ways of figthing. The weapon being wielded seems to have no positive or negative effect.
One of the Elmer's more higher mages reports that the training is proving so ineffective, it is not worth their time to continue such training, and wish to return to their studies and training the way they have always done.

THE MONKS OF AZURA (Chamo)

The training begins between the milita and the trained fighters of the local garrison. The militia are inexperienced and will take some time to train into an equal fighting force with the local garrison (2 Seasons)
The construction of the Statue to Azura will take much time and resources before it is completely finished (6 Pages)
The 7 Scouts have discovered a tribal camp to the south along one of rivers, however they appeared barbaric and hostile, so they kept their distance. Upon preparing to return home the 7 Scouts encounter a group of 11 Horsemen. The encounter is tense and uneasy, however both leave peacefully and the scouts return home unscathed and healthy.

ATMORANS

The 11 Scouts return home reporting to have discovered a group of Dunmer, while the meeting was tense between the two they were able to make contact with them, however they were unable to learn the location of their homes.
Nightmarish rumors begin to spread about the village of a haunted cave just south of their lands, people say the creatures only come out at night and feast upon anything they can find, be it beast or man. Though no official reports from patrols or guards can confirm these rumors.
