Seventeen to one. “For Lorraine, for d’Amaury!--” --- The battle was one sided, the Amador stood no chance. He fought valiantly, honorably, without fear, but the odds were stacked against him. “THUD!” Arthur lay back against the floor, spear impaled through his gut. Blood would gush out of his wound, his body began to grow cold. Arthur would look around, his eyes flutter between the armed savoy’n’lorraine men who stare but not act, whom only watch paralyzed in fear. ‘Why aren’t they helping?. . .’ Arthur’s mind begins to spin, his vision blurs. He’d let out a bloody and wretched cough, it’s no secret the Commander’s time is coming to it’s end. Arthur the Second, the last of House Amador, the first Commander of the Honor guard, slowly tilts his head back resting it on the cold hard stone.
