How did you find out about LotC: I've heard about quite a few times in server chat, but my comrade asked me to apply.

 

What is roleplaying: Playing the part of a fictional character in a usually fictional world.

Meta-Gaming: Not giving a chance for another person to RP. Ex: Using his great sword, Dimitri slices off the bandit's arm. Correct usage: Using his great sword, Dimitri tries to slice off the bandit's arm.

Power-Gaming: Using knowledge your character doesn't have, but you do.

Biography: Morgathos grew up in a small village on the southern coast of the isles. Where it was, he didn't remember. But he did know his father was a milita captain and his mother was a blacksmith. And that they were both brutally murdered by a bandit warband. Fleeing into the wilderness, he lived in a cave and took up arms in the form of a sword. When he was 17, he left the protection of the wilds and went out hunting bandits. He would never return to that cave, or to the south of the isles for a long time.

 

For years he wandered, a red wraith in the north. He had no friends, no family, no home. Yet he always found peace in the form of a book containing songs from his village. It was common for him to sing these songs, for they were the last pieces of home he had left. Being a Highlander by birth and living deep within the countryside, he didn't hear about the fall of the Empire or the rise of the Kingdom till he followed a bandit clan to a small town and heard them speak of how weak the security was. And after the bandits stumbled upon two Giant Crabs, Morgathos decided that he needed to stay away from the coast.

 

Personality: Quick to anger, low to forget or forgive, hates bandits. Slow to trust.

Ambitions: Stay alive, settle down somewhere.

Strengths: Good with the sword, knows how to survive, relatively strong.

Weaknesses: Doesn't trust many people on the road, has a fear of the southern isles and of Giant Crabs.

Appearance: About 6 feet tall, 200 pounds.
