Declaration of Pardon and Appointment

17th of the Grand Harvest, 1549

 

“Suffering changes all men, for good or worse.” -Guy de Bar

 

It is here declared by His Apostolic Majesty, John Godfrey, King of Vandoria, titles etc. that the Imam and former Caliph of Khalestine, Faiz Kharadeen is pardoned should he comply with the following;

 

  • Faiz must never again hold or take up arms unless his life is in immediate danger.

  • Faiz must preach only of the goodness of things in his worship services and never the evil, to uplift the spirits of people after nigh two decades of war.

  • Faiz return all profits or donations he receives to the Sultan to be put to the city, and the nation

 

Faiz, with these exceptions, will be granted a probationary citizenship as an Imam provided he truly offer benefit to the People of Vandoria and uphold her laws and honor.

In addition we are overjoyed to announce the ennoblement and appointment of Frederick Hamlen, to the office of High Justice of Vandoria, due to the honorable discharge of Darius de Denesle from that office.

 

Frederick Hamlen is given all rights and responsibilities of the office of High Justice and granted the honor of being styled “His Excellency” in both formal and informal address.
