The Silver Council is short one elf - the Tilurir'mali. After the fall of Riondil Seni the seat remains vacant. Thus the Council is calling upon all citizens who have the skills for the role, and are willing to strive for the betterment of the Silver kin to come forward and present themselves as candidates for selection.

Tilruir’mali

 

The Tilurir’mali is the foremost servant of the people of Haelun’or. They are to assure the council runs effectively, and be the right hand of the Sohaer. He or she presides over the path to purity, upholding the maehr’sae hiylun’ehya.  He or she bears the weight of order, and the one elected to this position must possess the respect of the citizenry and Tilruir above all else.

 

Duties of the Tilruir’mali

 

1.) Infrastructure.  Assisting in the appointment of Tiluriran to position and supervising the duties to these Tiluriran is the responsibility of the Tilurir’mali, who act as the head of the council and call meetings.

 

2.) The Path of Purity.  The Tilruir’mali claims precedence over the Path of Purity, sheparding those who eschew their cursed ways to once again embrace the philosophies of Larihei.

 

3.) Housing.  The duty of maintaining housing and the wellbeing of the citizenry at large falls upon the Tilruir’mali, assuring each mali is housed and well kept.

 

4.) Aiding and abetting.  The Tilurir’mali must provide aid to the Sohaer as requested in all ways possible to help him/her perform his/her duty.

Distant footsteps would be heard approaching within the murmur of quieted, inaudible speech. Conversations would come to a halt as the audience would part into two, allowing a curved figure to march within the center of the multitude of mali'aheral, towards Avern. A soft grumble was emitted from behind gritted teeth as she approached the younger 'aheral that stood before her; where then, her gaze gracefully shifted upon each individual for a moment.

 

Her figure would straighten immensely; looking as if it had been taken care of, though not for a long time. The woman's back would click, crack and snap into place as she would assume a posture of dominance, the complete opposite of her previous stance as she turned to those who watched her movements. - White hair curled around her head, most bunched in a tight bun as only some fell onto her shoulders; her eyes would be of blizzard white consistency and would seem to focus upon one target at a time. She would inhale sharply, dictating quickly after.

 

"I present myself to you today, mali'aheral."

 

"I present myself as Eloh'ra Siil'crux, though many know of my existence already. I stand here today, in hope that I am able to achieve anew, what I so wish. That is to aid the 'aheral as I have done previously. -- In my many years, I have gained sufficient knowledge to gather those from distant pasts and aid them through our culture, bringing forth the purity we all require. For as once we brought forth a genuine loving and embrace for the philosophies of Larihei.

 

Anew, I understand the physical aspect to this position. -- Housing and the well being of our citizens shan't ever become an apparent problem within our society, should I be taken as Tilruir'mali once and for all. Should I be graced with this position, I promise to you today that I shall listen to your requests as if of your family.

 

Lastly, to the Sohaer, I promise you something also; No such betrayal shall ever occur as of Riondil's. -- I will aid you as you request and furthermore, bring forth innovation and precision. You are to perform and act within your duty as best as you physically and mentally can, for that, I shall make sure you are never in distress or irritated over the smallest of issues.

 

I seek only to aid where I am needed, furthering our race to its best capabilities.

Eloh'ra would return to her curved position; her tired walk aided by an old wooden staff, a raven carved into its foremost head. Loud conversations would erupt again, many dispersing from the group, alas returning to where they previously stood.

 A rather silent and brooding figure made his way to podiums, his hands contorted to give an audible crack, and his feet rocked in their place. The blue eyed elf stood before them, tossing aside his silver locks as he began to clear his throat. He looked rather sickly, with deep bags under his eyes, however his voice was demanding and authoritative in contrast. He looked to those gathered with a sympathetic gaze, giving a final cough before beginning.

"It is most evident we can not falter after such a betrayal of trust mali'thill. Riondil's  blighted reign shines light upon the sins of our old institution.Change is most necessary, Indeed. And while many shall grant you empty promises and long, everlasting speeches, I shall keep mine quite concise. It is easy to maintain housing, and other dull tasks, but what truly defines a Tiltruir'mali is his vision. My vision is thus, a cihi in which we prosper and intellectualism is valued over feeling. A cihi in which violations of the law are taken in the upmost severity, with impurity topping the list, of course. A cihi that shall see unrivaled prosperity, without the constant schism or usurp we have most regrettably fell into. A cihi in which, our Tiltruirs do not bicker and squabble, but rather work together for the common good. A cihi in which, the Sohaer and Tiltruirs are treated not as nobility nor reigning kings but as fellow denizens. It is a responsibility to lead our people, not a privilege. I wish to serve both the Sohaer and the Tiltruir dutifully, and amend any past grievances harbored. The ilk of Laethis must not fester in our goverment once more, I believe I may offer the only truly unbiased representation.  I shall stand as both a llir to you, and a reformer. I do not hunger for power, nor fame, I simply wish to correct the rotten disease of contenders who wish to sway you like mere sheep. You may call me Orias Fi'Ahern, and thus this is my declaration of reform from asunder. Ahernan, all those who have come to see me, and most paramount

The meager mali made his way down the stage, giving a thankful raised palm. He would proceed to speak with any mali'thill that wished so, resting within the tavern.

Andri'ante tipped her head slightly as she would examine the candidates, an amiable smile curling on her lips as she would listen to their speeches. With a hand placed upon her staff, fingers curling loosely upon it; the willowy figure would briskly make herself apparent by weaving through the crowd. She offered brief glances to those she passed, her grey eyes glinting in apparent mirth  as she would occasionally incline her head in greeting. At last, the Izalith presented herself near Avern with an attentive stance - pivoting on her heels to face the gathered crowd promptly.

"Karin'ayla to you all, Mali'thill,

 

I stand before you now as a citizen of this cihi by the name of Andri'ante Izalith. Now whilst I can claim that I recognize the majority of your faces, I can only hope that the majority of you would recognize me. My time with you all I cannot call brief anymore; I returned at the time when the Mali'aheral were at their lowest, settling in a swamp city previously infested with the lesser races and apparent impures. T'is most unfortunate to see many of pure heritage and history fall prey to the ways of the impures, yet the cycle continues and one must progress forward with new minds. 

 

A promise we all have given, even if only silently to ourselves, is to the Maehr'sae Hiylun'ehya. I intend on pursuing it to the highest degree, and I will not stand idle and without progress. Thus, I come to you now to present myself as a candidate for the position of Tilruir'mali. 

 

I shall assume that the majority of you have interacted with myself, thus I claim to you now; I am a fair Mali, and it is quite apparent that I follow the teachings of Larihei. My actions are not without thought, nor are they done irrationally. My knowledge on the aheral people are not limited, instead they are rather extensive and reaching back far in history. I am not ignorant of our faults, nor of the the flaws we have and what it has caused in the past; therefore I find myself eligible to be Tilruir'mali and further embrace the current children of Larihei in her teachings.

 

Clashes, I have had with our Sohaer - and I shall address this now in public to clear the thin ice I tread upon. Sohaer, we have met when the aheral settled in swamps and without even a location destined for a library. We conversed as lliran and we shared the same views on what oem finds best for elmali'aheral, and the ways of maehr'sae hiylun'ehya. I know that you are aware of my knowledge and abilities, and I say to you now that I shall aid you as I must whether it be as a mere llir or by your side as your right hand. You know of my devotion, and if you seek to judge me; I beseech that you do so by judging myself - a mali you have judged as a  keen follower of Larihei - and not my family. 

 

I promise you not ruin or lies; I simply stand here as another child of Larihei willing to progress forward. I cannot predict the future, but I will do what is due to alter it for the best. Maehr'sae Hiylun'ehya, lliran."

 

As she utters the last of her speech, the aheral would offer a final dip of her head towards the gathered crowd. With a sharp glance cast towards chosen few, she swivels on her heels to depart in haste.
