What is roleplaying?: You act as a role that you have created. Most of the time a role that is as yourself

What is metagaming?: You use information your character wouldn't know in your roleplay actions. For example: Someone sends you a msg, that has nothing to do with what ur character knows. And you would go there, that is metagaming

What is powergaming?: powergaming is when you use emotes as *slices with his sword, cutting off Tom's hand* simply forcing the ations upon other players

 

In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Character’s age: (upon application, your character must be 18 or older, and depending on the race, they can be over five hundred years old!) 52

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore.): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.) Thalos was born in a halfling village, even though he lived with his parents. When Thalos was 42 years old, he started going out on travels, with his father in a long period of time. He met different people, as high elfs, dark elfs, halflings and dwarfs. One day while he was moving through Kal'Akash's mountains, he stumbled across a steep road. He and his father tried to get up the road, but it would be very hard. As Thalos and his dad couldn't carry it anymore, they were forced to let go of it. And as they walked down the steep road, they saw a mountain dwarf down at their cart. The mountain dwarf offered help, but he didn't have the materials on him. So they walked into the central place of the city Kal'Akash, and in the dwarf's home he brought a very small cart of materials to repair the bigger cart. When he was done repairing it, he'd have a friend help Thalos and his father push the cart up the steep road.

 

When they came home (near oren) he would say hello to his brothers and mother, and in their village, many other halflings would buy from Thalos and his father. 

He'd go out and farm from the crops. And he sometimes made armor. Thalos is also a good woodworker. He is known to also sell building materials. Such as cobble, wood etc. Thalos also has a mind of exploration, and adventure (Kinda the same things, i know) so he'd often go climb trees, or just wander far off. One day his mother got a sickness, and it was unknown. So she passed away when Thalos was very young. His father didn't seem to care much. Mostly because his wife was a high elf, and he was forced to marry her, even though he cried a bit. But he got over it very fast. But later, Thalos got over 50, and started adventuring on his own.

 

 

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) He likes to walk around and explore, and dislikes to talk with orcs.

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) He wants to be a nice merchant, a popular merchant, and a smart one. He also wants to own a shop one day.

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) Thalos is good at talking himself out of situations. Since he is a merchant, there might always be a danger around the corner.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Thalos is very bad at fighting, since he wasn't raised to fight, only farm and sell

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) Thalos is 4 feet tall, and has a bright red hair

• Your backstory is very cliche. Orc raids and family being taken by orcs has been used countless times before. Please think of something more original.
