What’s the rule you agree with the most?: That ERP/Cybering is not allowed. I think it would be weird to be offered ERP/accidentally overhear someone’s ERP going on while I’m trying to roleplay.

Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?: Nope.

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: I saw candle’s old videos on youtube and thought I would check it out.

What is roleplaying?: Stepping into the shoes of someone else and responding to the world as they would.

What is metagaming?: Using OOC knowledge while IC, for example seeing someone’s nameplate and knowing they were behind a wall.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Doing something that your character normally wouldn’t be able to/physically impossible, or forcing one’s actions on someone else. For example, punching through said wall to reach the person on the other side.

Character’s name: Ygraine Von Castille

Character’s sex: Female

Character’s race: Human

Character’s age: 23

Biography: Ygraine Von Castille lived an average, happy and content life. None of that “father ran away at a young age”, or  “family killed by uruks” nonsense.  Ygraine was raised by a simple family in the snowy parts of Athera. The Von Castilles kept to themselves, so secluded that none to many knows of their existence. Ygraine grew up seeing white. She grew up helping her father break ice from the nearby lakes to sell, and collecting an alchemical herb called Athin (one that only grew in the northern part of the realm) that provided her family’s  main source of income. Overall, The Von Castilles were a happy, loving and caring family who valued their Canonistic faith more than anything else. Over time, her mother died of natural causes, leaving her to her father’s care.

 

One day, when Ygraine and her father were carrying on their daily task of collecting more herbs, they crossed paths with a group of frost witches who disguised themselves as a group of sisters who needed aid. With their natural sympathy for people in such situations, they approached them and helped them out. The frost witches then led Ygraine and her father to a hut, and so the Frost Witches commenced their devious plan. Swords were swung, punches were thrown for a couple of minutes until Ygraine watched the frost witch stab her father straight through his stomach. Ygraine met her father’s eyes for the last time, nodding her head after her father mouthed her something. When Ygraine found a way out of the Frost Witches’ hut, she thought of nothing else and successfully bolted away.

 

Years has passed since Ygraine was left to fend for herself with the skills her father had made sure to teach her as a child. She now wanders Vailor, her father’s words serving as a basis of her actions: “The world isn’t as bad as they paint it to be. Find the good in everybody, and life will be better.”

 

Personality Traits: Ygraine tends to be cold to others and keep to herself, however once you manage to make her like you she will be a good and loyal friend.

Ambitions: Ygraine hopes to one day get revenge on the Frost Witches that killed her father.

Strengths/Talents: Ygraine has a basic knowledge of herb gathering and alchemy as a result of her father’s training. She is very shrewd and not easily lied to.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Ygraine is not very good in social situations and tends to push others away. She isn’t very strong physicaly and tends to faint when it gets hot.

Appearance: Ygraine is 5’4” tall, and has long black hair. She tends to dress somewhat modestly, and carries herself regally.
