Upon the ascension of Avern'dionne Adriane to Maheral of our people, the seat of Sohaer is vacant. Without a Sohaer we are without order and governance. The council decided in a 3-2 vote to call an election via council nominations. Nominations took place, debate has occurred, and now the election is called. Cast your votes, Mali'aheral. Who will lead us on the path of the maehr'sae hiylun'ehya?

You may vote twice. A single tick will count as ONE vote. A double tick is TWO votes. A single tick on ONE candidate and the ABSENCE of a second tick is ONLY ONE vote, with one abstention. Voting once on each candidate is a wasted vote, and will instead be counted as an abstention. Abstentions will not count towards either result, but will count towards quorum. Quorum for the vote shall be one fifth of the registered citizens. Should quorum not be met, the vote will go to the Council. Should there be a tie, the Maheral will gain an additional vote.

You must be a registered first class citizen upon the date of the election to vote.

If you fish your vote from the ballot box, it will cause an immediate discount .

Only the Maheral, who counts the votes, may delve into the contents of the ballot box. Any other doing so will be arrested .

If you are under fifty, you may not vote.

If you are an impure, you may not vote.

If you are on the path of purity you may not vote. You are still impure.

If you are not a high elf, you may not vote.

The Maheral arbits which votes qualify.
