Definitions

What is roleplaying?: Developing a character and acting as that character while having fun with others. Roleplaying is almost like a storybook.

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is taking out of character information and putting it in character.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Powergaming is forcing a set of events to happen to a different player. One example is if you type “*Jack  swings his sword, cutting into Leo’s leg*”.

Felsen. They haven’t traveled anywhere, although she’d love to. They were born in 1528.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore.):

( I apologize in advance for the small writing, i can't seem to change the size.

Lisa Dee and Felix Dee give birth to Jay Dee in  the outskirts of Felsen in a small house on a tree. At the age of 4 a group of high elf bounty hunters had climbed up the tree and stood outside Jay’s parent’s home. They demanded that they open the door or they would have to take them by force.  Her parents knowing the hunters had arrived they moved a colored rug which revealed a secret door. They opened the secret door and pushed Jay in. They told her to speak a word and the next second they closed the door and put the rug back. Jay confused but scared obeyed her parents.  Not too soon after the soldiers came crashing in. Jay heard angry yells and yelps in pain. Soon the fighting stopped. “Take them away now!” one of the soldiers crowed to the others. “ After all of these years. . . you thought we wouldn’t find you two? You two are still on the wanted papers after all. . . what was the amount. . . I don’t quite remember but you two are worth plenty “ the bounty hunter said. “You two caused quiet a riot that time, i still don’t see how you can still stand Phaedrus Lle’hileia” he chuckled, “We should get going. . . lets go boys we have an award to claim! “. Jay heard the Hunters open the door and go back down the tree. Jay stayed there for a whole 4 hours. Eventually curiosity got the best of her and she got out of the secret door. Slight amounts of blood and chunks of decorative wood lay scattered across the room. Jay heard someone else coming up the tree. She quickly picked up a small but blunt piece of wood to protect herself. Not to long after an old weary man (highlander)’s voice resonated throughout the room,” hello? Is anyone still here? “ he asked in the language she could understand. The elder eventually found Jay with the wood piece in hand. “Woah there, im not going to hurt you. I heard yelling and screaming. Is everything alright? “ The elder man asked. Jay shook her head and began to sob. It took 15 minutes for the elderly man to gain Jay’s trust. 

After gaining her trust he took her to the city of Felsen. “ the names Jared by the way “ the older man added in. “ h-how do you know my language? “ Jay said nervously. “ Oh that. I had a friend who taught me how to speak your language. Lucky for you if you didn’t speak that language I wouldn’t be able to gain your trust. “ the old man replied. “ n-no i don’t mean that… i mean how did you know to speak that language when you entered… “ Jay mumbled. “ Well i don't exactly know…. I guess it was…. A feeling? “ the old man answered. Finally they reached a small but fancy house. *years pass*
Jared had taught her about her culture. He taught her about the ancient homeland of the elves. He went into great detail about the laws during that time such as the Silver law. Finally he talked about the conflicts of the woodland elves and the high elves. He taught her how to string a bow and use a knife. Jared and Jay had great years together, but eventually it was time for Jared to move on. He passed away when Jay was 18 years of age. Jay had to learn to live on her own. She practiced the arts of pickpocketing and stole from the markets that always seemed to have the food Jay likes. Jay since then hasn’t bonded with any other person. She lives alone for now hoping that the next day will offer a new adventure. Old memories of the past lurk in her head. Her hate for the highelves still strong as if the attack happened today. She hopes they’ll learn to stop fighting with her kind, she doesn’t like it and she doesn’t plan to get used to it.

 

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Outgoing, funny, sarcastic. Can sometimes be shy and ignorant.

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) She aspires to be a hero. She wants to help people live a long and meaningful life.

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) She is extremely good at being a liar. She can wield a bow and small hunting knife.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) She can easily be manipulated with others emotions. She is short tempered. Hard to keep secrets. Steals too much.

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) Average height (slightly shorter than an average human). She has long dark brown braided hair. Wears two flowers on each side. She has two discolored eyes. One is red one is blue (birth defect). She has a small shield made out of wood to protect her from any large enemies.
