I find this topic interesting!

Especially since when I joined the amount of female orc applications seemed to be growing.

(I'm a female orc btw! You can't really tell... BUT I AM! XD)

I don't see the point of giving up all of your possessions, but I do appreciate the symbolism. I see it more like Orc couples would be more apt to fight together. More fighting together means more "heat and passion" from battle and thus...better sex? XD That seems more logical to me.

I think a good romantic gesture for an orc would be to dissapear one day without explanation, then return a week later with a bag full of the bones, guts and treasures of your enemies.

I imagine that there is such a thing as proper, tender love for orcs, but it would be something done in absolute secret. Getting caught during your peaceful snuggles would be the most disgraceful thing possible for an orc... Apart from getting caught snuggling with a halfling I guess.

Yeah, Gragarn and Urara punch each other as a greeting. And/or a display of affection. We started punching each other in front of Native the other day and he was so disturbed that he took off running.

I think we decided that tender displays of affection are taboo, as they are signs of weakness. But Gragarn and Urara do occasionally kiss in private (don't tell anyone, ssssh).

Basically, orcs don't express love in public. If you must show affection, do it in a way that suggests strength or dominance (ex. Punching your loved ones in the face). Strength and dominance is everything.

The only thing that can make orcs better would be an Orc Vinci. Or Picassorc. Or... dunno. It'd just be so awesome to be reading through a library and see Orc Vinci's amazing old journals with pictures for to-be inventions.
