Another post about my boy pito444, the great mizu, the unearthing, the devious, the scourge, the ultimate, the great, the wild, the beautiful, the amazing, the sexy, the unffff pito444.

 

I ask for his freedom from the realm of the ban hammer. It has been 4 months since his offense, and I demand that the ruling of his punishment be overturned and allow him to appeal for his ban! It was ruled that what he has done would be determined as a perma ban, but yet staff have yet to prove as to why what he did had the outcome of a perma ban. They claim he was a repeat offender and that is why its a perma ban, but when we ask for proof of what past actions he has committed, the staff show up empty handed!

 

The face of true bias and target banning! He was only banned 3 times prior to the "metagaming" crime. 1st was some thing with Potato banning him due to a misunderstanding, which only resulted in like a 2 hour ban. The second was that he was accused of duping, when it was just one of the members underneath his wing, he had nothing to do with the duping and yet was banned for it. And the third was the mass ban, when dunamis was accused of raiding Felsen and everyone there was banned.

 

And he gets perma ban for "metagaming"? That is unbelievable, especially since we have pedo's, cyberer's, pex abusers, hackers, cheaters, and all these other sh!t heads on the servers. Why are we allowing people who have pasts of raping children back on the server, but not a man who has done literally nothing wrong but a simple misjudge in character? Is it because that man is a true leader, an inspiration to all men and women that follow him? Is it because he almost lead the true demise of the GREAT orenian empire?

 

He has since disappeared from the realm of man, the only way  we may see his return if staff overturn this dumb ass Perma ban sentence.

If the first few lines of this paragraph are true, then you need to speak to an admin (presumably Tythus) about it- with proof, of course. Paedophiles should, most assuredly, be banned from the server for much longer then somewho that metagames.

 

While metagaming does tend to kill the flow of roleplay, if we look into previous examples of banning and blacklisting for the duration of the bans and the situations, then it could be assumed that we might find some differences or similarities with the ban duration.

 

Ban Duration : Two Weeks

Situation : Needed a guard to get online to fight a creature. Used in-game messaging system to do so. Appeal Completed and Accepted.

 

Ban Duration : Three Months, Six Month Blacklist After

Situation : A force of four people were raiding a human settlement. Used in-game messaging system to do so- along with Teamspeak. Appeal Completed and Accepted.

 

To add onto this case, the others included only got six week bans and three month blacklists. Not permanant, nothing over four months long.

 

 

Ban Duration : Two Weeks, as seen in the title

Situation : People were being raided or were raiding. Used ingame messaging to do so. Appeal Completed and Accepted.

 

If we truly want to be fair to a player who has broken a rule, then we need to learn to forgive what they've done. Pito444, as far as I've been told, didn't pugsy, hack, break any erotic rules relating to the server ect. But, he is banned permanantly. Why is this? I am generally curious to find out why such an incredible time period has been enforced on someone for breaking a rule like metagaming. The average ban length appears to be two weeks, from the three given examples. If it's to set a message because you feel as if he's a 'bad player'- it's a horrible way to go about it. The administation and moderation team need to understand that prolific players, who lead large organizations on the server, add to the activity on said server. If you're banning players who are promoting activity, it's wrong decision. I could understand if you give him a three month ban 'to set an example' (which even then is rather silly), but permanant seems a little... extreme.

 

Just a concerned player giving their two cents, given the recent blacklisting event that needs to be re-evalutated aswell- a group decision doesn't always mean that all views and opinions are looked into.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is the true hero this server needs. I am speaking a literal truth, because this entire post could be compared to any credible news reporter's article in which they uncover unjust corruption or representation. A historical example that I base this conclusion from is that of the muck-rakers of the industrial revolution. In which, reporters went against threats given to them to uncover the truth behind American lives in urban societies dominated by corrupt political machines. See a similarity? I do. Just like the poor helpless individuals of the once new urban societies were not given that of help or equality, my n word Pito444 has not been given a punishment equal to that of others, where certain others are given an easier time than some. I smell the spoiled scent of injustice at which corruption lays it's eggs.

for real though, people get unbanned for metagaming all the time. pito is generally chill from what i've gathered.
