Elvira glanced around, finding herself only in darkness. She had fallen asleep a while ago, due to exhaustion and stress getting to her. Yet she did not feel afraid or alarmed. Instead, she felt peace but knew she wasn’t alone. At first, it felt as though someone was watching her every move or was trying to reach out to her. It bothered her but it was not the annoying type. It was just there, faintly flowing through her. It went from a feeling to a whisper, a gentle and comforting whisper that was trying to reach out to her. Finally, a ball of white light hovered in front of her, glowing brightly, filled with raw power. Someone else was here with her, she knew who they were and knew full well that they weren’t a foe.
Tahariae.

Elvira Naromis, my servant, the Aengul spoke to her. She remembered his voice clearly from the two times she had heard him; when he temporarily disconnected her, and when he was telling her and Ramza of the Harvesters.
M-My lord…this is u-unexpected, you’re not the one who personally talks to your own servants nearly all of the time, Elvira replied in pure awe that the Aengul was speaking to her. If anything, you only directly talk if something of utmost seriousness is at hand. Has something happened?

I speak to thou directly for one reason alone, Tahariae answered. I have a single quest for thou, and thou alone, my servant.

Elvira blinked. A quest, my lord?

I ask of thou to cast thyself away from others and travel away, to a lone cave within the mountains, the Aengul of Purity explained. Once there, there, meditate and focus on I alone and the connection we share. Day and night, pray, meditate and summon your light. Become wise and peaceful, understand what has affected you and cast them away under I and I alone.

Why… why are you asking me to do this though, my lord? Elvira dared to ask, afraid of angering the Aengul. The last time she did, she got temporarily disconnected for it.

In thy heart, there is no more calmness or peace, only regret and guilt… burdens… I can sense them when thou calls to I for my light, Tahariae explained to her, speaking in a calm tone. The ball of light that was him was glowing more. They are the locks that hold thou back. Stopping thou from reaching thy true potential. Thou are a skilled cleric who is not like others who have led my servants. Power cannot corrupt thou, nor are thou single in mind, and thou can see more than what one automatically believes. I trust thou to be the leader, but I need thou to change: Become wise and more understanding, and be one with peace.

Change. Could she change? It was true what Tahariae had said; Ever since the day she left Ramza, she failed to find peace and calmness within her. Every day was become a struggle for the cleric, her troubles continuously plagued her and her emotions seemed to rule her. She struggled to do her duty, struggled to even summon her own light at times,  unable to heal even the easiest of wounds or summon an orb of light. It appeared as though the weight of everything was beginning to crush down on her shoulders, especially now that she grew older and weary. Her emotions and the stress was getting to her and she was struggling to even do her duty correctly. Would going away and meditating truly help her? Learning to cast away such burdens so that she could become enlightened or more at peace?

Elvira considered what Tahariae had told her carefully then nodded to herself. She looked to the light. Where do I go?

When thou wake up, thou will know where to go. I shall also guide and protect thou on the journey there, the Aengul stated. The light began to fade. Thou may leave once thou has prepared thyself.  Now sleep, my cleric, the night is long and thou cannot afford to stay awake for thou have a journey ahead. May thou bring purity back to the realm once more, Elvira Naromis.
And then He was gone. Elvira found herself once again in darkness and her consciousness faded away, yet she fell into a peace and gentle sleep.

The next day, Elvira woke up. She remembered the dream and strangely, she knew the location of a cave located within Vailor. She faintly questioned if it was just a dream or not, but decided to go regardless. The cleric swiftly wrote down letters and prepared herself. Then, a few hours later, she had departed from the cleric tower. Only letters sent to certain people would bear the news of the cleric’s  temporary leaving.

OOC

I've decided to shelf Elvira for a while for a few reasons. Firstly, there hasn't been much activity for the clerics lately and I want to get things more organised for them OOCly. Additionaly. I've decided to focus more on my other character, Azariah, for a bit as I am essentially in charge of a guard now (god help me). Lastly, I needed just some development with Elvira to keep my interest in her, as well as provide some new interesting encounters with her.

Also, I wasn't sure how to send her away this time but I decided that Tahariae should send her away for a little bit to get her back in shape, as well as getting over some issues she's been suffering lately. There may be moments where I may very briefly come back on as her for major events or if she is most needed... although I am now wondering if it was fine if I used a Tahariae meeting here...

-shrugs-

But ya, that's that... and yes, I do have a habit of going overboard with my posts at times.

Don't worry, it's only temporary and she will be back soon. Just got a handful of stuff to handle first.

Ramza visits her home, noticing she is gone. He takes the note given to him, sighing softly on her departure. "Looks like I have to lead.. our brothers and sisters again.."

Gareth laughs bitterly. "The one individual who could hold back my wroth has faded away.. perhaps it is time to end the heretics and at least do the crippled beast a mercy."

An ame folds his arms, a small frown forms on his face as he shakes his head.

"Tis the at most shame... For her to have lost her sense of touch of her way... And to regain it, will be her challenge... But no matter... She shall return... Though we just met... A sister she is... For we both cherish something in common. I pray for your return llir, van'ayla."
