Laying agianst one of Aethermoore's many walls, a single guard's corpse lay still and unmoving, it's head missing and replaced with that of a black Orc's.

In the aftermath of a recent skirmish, among the dead a black orc's corpse lay still and unmoving, it's head decapitated and replaced with that of an elf's head.

-

Within the mouth of both corpses, a piece of bark is neatly tucked away with a simple message etched on.

"One and the same."

Azariah frowns when she sees the body by the walls, the only person with the Warden title kneels down and inspects the body to see who the officer's body was. She takes the bark out and reads it before spitting out one word.

"Tribals..."

The High Warden stands up and leaves, then returns to the corpse with her guards. "Take the body and the head, burn them both. I doubt the orcs will willingly accept the head without thinking we caused this. Sending it back to them will only cause them to hate us more and more issues."

From there, the group take the bodies and burns them on pyres with prayers to both the officer and the orc who the head belongs to. Azariah watched the fires burn, gripping her spear tightly in her hand. Those tribals had already caused too much trouble for the town, een nearly burning her to death and harming others.

The High Warden knew enough was enough, she knew where their camp was...

...and it was time to watch the Tribals burn.

((Btw. Only Azariah has the High Warden title, the common guards are known as Officers. People are thinking Azariah died but its not her, I don't remember any of this))

((I call a paradox))

Sera Looks at the two bodies, pursing her lips. "Ugh, gross." she shook her head and turned to walk off.

((Nah, we're the Fos Aspida. Look at our organisation post and you'll see the ranks. It's fine though))

Aereis Raemonn closes his eyes focusing on a rose intently over and over and then thinks of the void and how they are connected. Beads of sweat run down his cheek. He composes the rose in the abyss of the void slowly but correctly. He attempts to bring this rose into the realm of existence.

[!] A rose slowly appears where the two bodies were.

Aereis keeps his eyes closed and bows his head. "In memory of our lost guard of Aethermoore and to the lost Orc." He looks up opening his eyes.

[!] The rose quickly disappears as Aereis stops the mana flow.

Aereis walks away silently in respect.
