With a grunt the elder uruk woke up. His form lay but weakly atop the moist soil of the undergrowth around him. He huffed through his nostrils, his eyes opening but staying narrowed for a time.

Rays of sunlight hit the uruk through the dense roof of leaves above him, the light carrying a soft green hue. The elder stood up, wincing and cursing at his old joints who refused coörporation. He searched about him, taking a step forward. Another and another, through the dense undergrowth before the silence that surrounded him was disturbed by a low growl. The exclamation of pain caused by the impact of the Shaman and the staff he had been searching for. Rubbing his toe he took the decorated piece from the ground, tapping off some dirt and leaves. Using it as an anchor to lean on, the elder limbed forth into the darkness of the forest.

Mere minutes he spend following the narrow path before something arose in the distance, a large wall of stone blocked his path. After some more limbing he arrived at the start of this wall, and with a quick scan the Elders eyes fell upon a narrow opening, a round cavern broke the wall and bid him a way through. Instinctively he looked around, shrugging he ventured on, only to halt at the entrance.

With hesitation he peered into the darkness there, nothing more seen. His foot raised from the ground and was set atop the first stone step of the stairway that lead down into the deep, only to be quickly jerked back as an echo emerged from within the dark. A low laughter escaped the cavern opening and left for the woods as it passes the elder uruk that stands in front.

The orc swallows briefly, standing with what seemed to be fear in his eyes, staring in awe at the opening of the cave. He shook his head in an attempt to rid himself of this unpleasant feeling. With determination he stepped forth and ventured down into the darkness.

The further the orc travels, the lighter his surroundings become. The void that darkened the cavern slowly fades as more and more of the stairways tunnel  walls starts to show themselves. Eventually the orc entered a small oasis, a body of water at the bottom of the stairway. In the middle stood a rock, on which a figure lay idly, sleeping.

On a soft tone, the uruk spoke. “Heil Drelthok. He halted at the edge of the body of water. Awaiting a response. The figure moved, light bouncing off the rocks and water, lighting up the area. The ball of brown fur started to slide down the rock, and landed into the water. In a terrible slow rate the bear stood on its paws and moved towards the shaman.

“W-why did you wake me? I was just dreaming” The bear yawned, its voice sleepy.

The elder grumbles. “To meet with you, spirit of sleeping and dreams. I am sorry to so.” he inclines his head in respect. “It is an honour”

“Yes yes.. Pfft..” The bear yawns again. “Tell me, why did you walk here? Why not just fly here, you doofus?” it inquires, apparently quite seriously on the matter.

“Errrr…” The elder freezes in place. “Orcs don’t fly” He states blankly.

“Nonsense! EVERYBODY can fly!” The bear approaches. Upon standing a few feet from the uruk it raises on two feet, and drops on its bum. A paw is brought to the head and a nail taps onto the head of the elder. “Its all in here.” The bear smiles. “Once your body is at rest, this is the place where imagination becomes reality.”

The tapping intensifies. “All in here, good sleep means good dreams.”

With a final tap the uruk drops on the ground. He sleeps for hours, during which a wide smile was latched to his face. The dream flew him to the most exotic places, the largest slave markets and the most beautiful fe-uruks. With two claps of the bearhands the uruk awakens.

“W-why did you wake me? I was just dreaming” The orc yawned, its voice sleepy.

As the orc looks around the cavern was gone, and so was the bear. He was back in his house, back in his hammock. The orc smirked before closing his eyes again, to sleep and dream some more.
