A dense and blinding fog befell the rotting woods that Kharak found himself walking through. His feet were submerged in a thick bog as he carefully waded through the perturbed wilderness, the hilt of his blade held firmly in his hand. The leather cracked under his palm as he tightened his grip, squinting as he took note of the sight before him. Out through the withered bark was an open expanse. A stygian cave lay in the centre resting upon the hill that was embraced in all directions by the putrid waters.

As the Rex broke out of the woods, a deafening silence pervaded his senses. In the trouble it took for him to reach the stone cave, it seemed as though time itself had slowed significantly. All was silent, and not even the murky waters that hugged his ankles offered any movement. Kharak paused before the small entrance to the cave. As he peered into the darkness, he set his trembling hand out upon the cold rock, pressing against it as he let out a disconcerted sigh.

The Orc cleared his throat, tensing his muscles as he drew his sword and walked carefully into the cave. He was soon welcomed by an encompassing mesh of humid and repulsive air. He grimaced slightly in response, holding his free hand up to cover his nose.

Before long the interior began to widen, and soon the Rex found himself in an open cavern. Pools of frothing liquid filled several areas of the interior, causing something of a mote around the central point. A beaten bridge clung desperately to the stone floor, offering an uncertain path over the waters. In the middle, a hunched and withered oak tree stood. Its bark was petrified, and all of the eight branches that protruded from it contorted and twisted in an unusual manner. Affixed to the end of each was a different kind of weapon. Rusted and cracked, they adorned the gnarled bark as if some kind of shrine.

The earth that held the tree in place produced a large variety of fungi, all of which stood defiantly against the theme of decay which seemed so stark within the cavern. The Rex sat himself down beside the base of the shrine. He sighed, his body continuing to tremble as he looked out over the fungus in contemplation. After a moment, he shook his head, picking one mushroom in particular. It produced a small mist of a dark green colouration, its texture dry and rough. As the Orc's hands continued to shake, he consumed the fungus and reclined back against the petrified wood.

"Skaatizgu, Kharak. Brusizishu durzim gashnat."

A dark and rumbling voice whispered as the Rex fell into a haze. His sight began to decay as the walls around him slowly dripped, their mass sinking into the murky waters at the base of the cavern. Soon, everything began to melt before him as his gaze became enveloped in a blanket of darkness.

A throbbing vibration pummeled Kharak's senses as he came to. His hands and feet brushed against soot and ash as he looked out upon the open crimson horizon. The land was empty in all directions. A desert of death and decay, save for an amalgamation of disease and rot that loomed over the Rex. The obelisk pulsated with a sickly green hue, seemingly suspended in mid air. After a moment, the familiar, sinister voice that had pierced Kharak's mind before spoke out from it.

"Kulizg narnûrzuga gorlabor, Uruk."
"I am not displeased with your work, Orc." It said, the surrounding soot and sand rumbling around the pillar of disease.

"I-I live to serve you, Orgon." Kharak remarked, edging back along the floor in a languid movement.

"Kramplat iistamat ghashnugalat tul?"
"Do you know why I commanded you here?" It asked. Suddenly, the hue of the obelisk began to seep from the base of it, a horrible mist escaping into the land and slowly creeping along the floor.

"I'm not sure?" Kharak said in an uncertain tone, looking out upon the advancing fog with a weak expression.

"Kau gorulab, narpuzgugalat gothizg ikhuga krum fiin-isldushatâru."

"Despite your efforts, you have allowed my influence to be driven back by mere Dedicants." It expressed in anger, the putrid mist enveloping Kharak in all directions. The Rex searched desperately for his weapon, scurrying to his feet in panic.

"Stop! I have tried to ho-" He called out, before his attempts were thwarted by a suffocating smog. His throat began to clench up as an overwhelming sensation of burning and fatigue befell him. The voice that came from the Obelisk laughed to itself as the Rex began to writhe in agony. After a moment, the horrible mist began to recoil, returning to its containment within the rotting amalgamation.

"Nar thraklat loikulub izgu, agh norkizgub loiklab."
"Bring their corpses to me, or I will claim yours." It ended, before the Rex fell into unconsciousness.

Meanwhile, within a tower.

"...c'mon, I need those blood samples... hurry..."

A certain blonde cleric would be pacing within her lab.

Meanwhile, in a far off grove, the Bull Druid slumps in his seat within the beautiful office under the sky-reaching tree that covers the man's abode. In front of him sits a dedicant, one that seems somewhat full of their selves, and after a moment of silence does the druid begin to speak. "This plagued land of the greenskins, is an oddity. Their spirits taint the land with their unknown magics, while the shamans scream absurdities to the skies and the rest of the uruk population have a wild harrumph, claiming it as some sort of honour they bring but alas, they do **** all but rely on those far greater than them." Toren huffs out a moment, an amused smile appearing on his face. "Even the Skygods aren't happy with their ridiculous ability of tainting land they, don't have the ability to touch. Ah, well, we shall cleanse the lands, and put the Rex on trial to the Aspects, I promise you that."

The dedicant nods towards his guide, a smile on his own face, as his emerald eyes reflect the thought of a healed land, and a headless Rex.
