I have to agree with what the others are saying, the techies should not be holding the admins by the balls simply because they are unwilling to make a change. I understand them doing that if it was some impossible feat of coding, but removing the nexus and such shouldn't be that hard, in my eyes anyways.

What I think needs to be changed. 1.9 pvp, I think 501 asked for opinions, don't really remember, but the mechanics seemed good at first but now I think more and more people are realizing how stupid they are.  Make pvp great again.

Nobody holds anybody by the balls, the fact is simple, development work takes time and lots of patience.

As for the removal of Nexus, you should be aware by now that Obelisk has been doing just that for the past 6 months, and that is the goal of 2016.

This is effectively exactly what I repeat every single time you ask to remove Nexus, read this post and don't ask again, I'd probably rewrite Minecraft in the amount of time I spend responding to these. To repeat, Obelisk has been doing just that for the past 6 months, and that is the goal of 2016.

To add, Nexus & ArcheCore and their related content until recently comprised at least 80% of our server content. Realistically speaking, no, that's not easy to replace.

We could always do that by removing fast travels :^)

That might be a serious suggestion.

Or at least making them just for nation capitals. Or keeping them, but making them cost mina.

Why is Nexus still being pushed even if a lot of the community has expressed disdain to it's grinding facets? Why not simply ask around the community what it wants in a professions, instead of going on limbs that "They don't like this, let's try this other way", blindly trying to aim what the community wants when we have never told the staff that we are not going to tell them what we want...

Tons of threads regarding changes to Nexus have been made, and they've all been met with negligent responses and dismissive statements.

Can you explain what the staff is doing about Nexus, exactly, and without any roundabout the question?
