What is roleplaying?: Playing (acting and speaking) a role of someone or something you are pretending to be for fun.

What is metagaming?: roleplaying using information from OOC you could not have known IC

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: making roleplay all about yourself by not giving other people choices. Instead if they dont make the choice you want you force them to make that choice.

 

In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

 

Character’s name: (what do you want your character to be called?) Saendar (i prefer something close to my own name so i made it a bit more elvish if thats ok.

Character’s sex: (male or female?) Male

Character’s race: (you can find all the playable races here.) Wood elf

Character’s age: (upon application, your character must be 18 or older, and depending on the race, they can be over five hundred years old!) 49 (about to become an adult in some time)

 

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore.): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.) In 1527, on the island of Tahn in a small hut at the edge of the woodelves' forest Saendar Oronar was born. He lived there with his parents and grandparents and made a living of farming and foresting. During his childhood Saendar often had to help at the farm or needed to wander deeper into the forest. There, he then would seek for products like berries, honey, Tippen's Root or Halfling's grass. The goods that they had farmed and gathered they would sell to other woodelves or to the people of Metz, the town on the nearby lake. Saendar was a very adventurous young elf and he loved going into the forest or to the town of metz to sell goods there. As a young elf he also loved relaxing in the peaceful forest. He would go fishing in by the waterfall near their house or would become friends with a deer (he sadly didnt have that much friends as they lived quite isolated). As the years passed Saendar grew, and as he became more responsible his parents would allow him to make small journeys to places outside the region they lived in. His longest journey was his journey to Oren, there he stayed half a year getting used to city life and working as a farmers' servant to earn some minas. When he returned to his house in the forest his parents and grandparents were delighted to see him again, but he had gotten so used to always having people around that he began to feel lonely. That was 6 years ago and luckily for Saendar a big change happened in the woodelves' forest. The city of Linandria was founded! Saendar wanted to move there but his parents wouldn't let him until he would become an adult. Now, it is 1576 and in little time Saendar will turn 50, become and adult and be ready to start a whole new adventure, the adventure of his life in the Woodelves' Capital, City of Hope, Linandria!

 

 

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Adventurous, curious, scratches his earn when he thinks about something, likes wandering through the forest and being in tough with nature, doesnt like rude or annoying people.

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) A wealthy elf that has some power, but he still wants to keep in touch with his humble old ways and with nature.

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) Bow shooting, sneaking, hunting

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Making friends

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) Saendar is quite tall, 5 feet 9, has blue eyes, dark brown hair. and has no scars.
