Declaration of Regency, Mor'Ton

18th of the Grand Harvest, 1581

 

 

 

To the misfortune of House Crast, Mor'Ton's first and current Lord, Wilmot Crast has fallen critically ill leaving him in an incapacitated state. Henceforth, his heir and designated regent, despite his youthful age will now be ruling the Fiefdom in his stead. The following responsibilities will fall to Grendun Crast until his Lordship Wilmot has recovered in full.

 

• All responsibilities pertaining to the Order of the Willowsguard and the Fiefdom will fall to Grendun and all decision on what belongs to his House will be made by him, although to ensure the young Lord is guided along the right path a small assembly of advisors will accompany him and do all in their power to run things smoothly.

 

• The advisors previously mentioned shall have no authority other than the right to give Grendun council before any decision making occurs.

 

• Upon the request of his Lordship Wilmot Crast, diplomacy involving the common folk of Mor'Ton or the Nobility of the Empire shall also fall to Grendun Crast, none other, unless the young Lord falls will have any right to meaningful action regarding such.

 

• Should his Lordship Wilmot not recover from this, God forbid, Grendun Crast will be the official recognized heir to all titles, possessions and familial heirlooms.

 

This parchment, this mandate, shall serve as the legal document affirming his Lordship Wilmot's requests as well as the approval of their just liege, Jon Renault of the house Ashford de Savoie. Good wishes to every Orenian.
