It is with grievance that the March of Vasiland reports that an affliction has struck the Lord Fiske Vanir, 1st Marquis of Vasiland, 3rd Baron of Kraken’s Watch, Baron of Lorentz and the Patriarch of the House Vanir after a wound sustained in the Siege of San’Kharak has festered into malady. Therefore, it is declared by the will of His Lordship that his eldest son and heir, Lord Brynden Vanir, will be given the title Regent of Vasiland. In order to aid with these duties, it is His Lordship’s wishes that Loric Armas be made Chancellor of Vasiland and Evan Abdiel its’ steward. Lord Brynden and the aforementioned council will be given the following responsibilities until His Lordship is able to make a full recovery from his injuries.

The responsibilities of the management and upkeep of the Third Brigade of the Second Haenseatic Legion, with Lord Brynden serving as its’ tribune until His Lordship is able to return to his duties. His advisors, appointed by His Lordship, will assist him in the fulfilling of these duties

The council and the regent will have control over the internal and external affairs of House Vanir and diplomatic reputation of the March of Vasiland

Brynden Vanir will have supreme word over his council in all of the previously mentioned ventures, his Councillors are advisers, not rulers.

Should GOD deem that it is type for His Lordship to ascend to the Seven Skies, Brynden Vanir is recognized as the heir to the House of Vanir, the March of Vasiland and all heirlooms and possessions.

Should Lord Brynden pass before His Lordships’ recovery, the title of regent will pass to Lord Sigmund Vanir.

This decree is and can be cited as legal proof of His Lordship’s wishes and assertions and the proof of approval of His Majesty, King Petyr Barbanov of the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska.

The Sea Bows to None.

Signed,

Marquis Fiske of the House Vanir, 1st Marquis of Vasiland

King Petyr of the House Barbanov of Hanseti-Ruska

Viktor would frown as the news reaches Turov "How unfortunate, my thoughts are with the Vanir's."
