Declaration of Abdication, 20th of the Deep Cold, 1585
Issued and Confirmed by His Excellency, the Archchancellor and acting Lord Regent Leopold of Marna on behalf of his Imperial Majesty Robert II, 20th of the Deep Cold, 1585

TO OUR BELOVED SUBJECTS,

Let it be known on this day, the 20th of the Deep Cold, in the Year of Our Lord 1585, that We the Imperial Crown, in the personage of the Holy Orenian Emperor, Robert II, do hereby declare Our abdication from the most eminent throne of the Holy Orenian Empire, effective immediately upon the issuing of this declaration. The succession is hence transmitted, in accordance with the Imperial line of succession, to Our brother the Duke of Corazon and Prince of the Imperium Quintus, and We hence give Him Our blessing to mount the throne of the Holy Orenian Empire.

We direct Our brother to conduct the affairs of state in absolute authority, though full and inviolable union with the laws, estates and governments of the realm. In the name of Our dearly beloved homeland, We call on Our faithful sons of the fatherland to fulfill their sacred duty to the fatherland, to obey the Holy Orenian Emperor in the heavy moment of national trials, and to help Him to guide the Holy Orenian Empire on the road to victory, welfare and glory.

God save Our Orenian State!

IN NOMINE DEI,

His Imperial Majesty Robert II Henry of the House of Horen, by the Grace of GOD, Holy Orenian Emperor and rightful Emperor of Aeldin, forever August, Apostolic King in Oren, of Savoy, Kaedrin, Haense, Renatus and Salvus, Defender of the Faith, Duke of the Crownlands, Avar, Frederica, and Cascadia, Margrave of Greater Kreden, Count of Johannesburg, Louvain, Beauclair, Sundholt, Estavar, Wett, and Metz, Sovereign of Humanity, Suzerain of the Elves and Protector of the Dominion of Malin, etcetera.

His Excellency, the Imperial Archchancellor Prince Leopold of House Horen, first Baron of Senntisten, Warden of the Westerlands and Knight of the Imperium Quintus
