What is roleplaying?: To play a role as another character and not act like yourself. To be responsible for your character and basically, playing as someone else. This is what Lord Of The Craft is based around.

What is metagaming?: When someone uses outside information to guide their character, and the character is not supposed to know this information. For example, msging someone to find out their location and saving them from a possible mugger/murderer.

What is power-emoting (powergaming): A player doing something that they should not be able to do, that is overpowered. For example forcing a command on someone like -stabs with knife- and makes the experience worse for everyone.

 

In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

 

Character’s name: (what do you want your character to be called?) Johnathan Nakai

Character’s sex: (male or female?) Male.

Character’s race: (you can find all the playable races here.) Human.

Character’s age: (upon application, your character must be 18 or older, and depending on the race, they can be over five hundred years old!) 26

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore.): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.) My character grew up in a worn down village in the nation of Seventis. One fateful day, when my character was very young (18), the village was raided by mountain dwarves, that kept mentioning the name Khorvad, and my character was kidnapped by the very people who raided the village. Later on, they brought him by boat as far as Caligo. When they departed from the boat and into the woods, he was trying to fight out of his bounds, and he heard something. YELLS.

At this moment, green cloaked men proceeded to storm the tent he was bound in. They took him, with John thinking they were High Elves because of their cold personality and couldn't see their faces, figured they were bringing him to Haelun'or. They ended up bringing him deep into a forest. The rangers (what they called themselves) turned about to be a mix of races. Even though there was a dislfference in race between all of them, they raised him from there to a adult as their brother. The story continues from there.

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) My character enjoys things the rangers taught him. He enjoys things like archery, knife throwing and hunting. He doesn't have much habits or quirks, besides if drinking profusely counts as a habit. He dislikes things that the people who raised him disliked. The following are bandits, thieves, murderers and kidnappers (hence why he was saved).

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) A respected man and a good ranger who protects all and cares for all.

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) He is pretty good at several things. These include, stealth, archery, knife throwing and he is adept at knife fighting.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Swordfighting. He is also very quick, but not to strong so if he was gotten ahold of by someone bigger he'd most likely be finished.

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) My character is a dark brown haired male. He has hazel eyes and doesn't have any visible scars because he wears a green cloak that covers a good amount of his body. He is about 5'11, and 153 pounds.

Skin: (please provide us a screenshot of your character’s skin; if you need help, see our screenshot guide here.) The screen is as good as I could get. I hope it's ok.
