Malgonious 2758 Share Posted November 29, 2016 Upon the back of the table laid dormant a bronzed shield. This shield weathered few dents, it's use must've been minimal, perhaps merely training or hunting based. Perhaps maybe a tool, a wall to defend another wall, or maybe perhaps ceremonial... Whether or not its purpose, it mattered little to the drab hall that it hibernated within. The hall still moaned and wailed as the winds blew through it, the shield slowly turning and tossing upon the point which it stood. A sudden gust blew threw the Hall of Ireheart as a familiar footing slowed as it approached. A grumble within the fellow's throat would echo as he entered the Hall, sliding his hands across the dusted stoneworkings, inspecting any for such treasures that may lurk amiss.. Yet however, the shield continued it's chime, the slow toss and turn upon the point which it lay. The fellow's curiosity was peaked, strolling over to the shield of which lay barren to the decrepit hall. The fellow's fingers trailed the ancient markings, a symbol of a winged-creature. A grumble, a tussle, the man's pockets were stuffed as that toss and turn nae longer echo throughout the decrepit Ire hall. *** The soft drip of water within the Hall of Ire resounded. No longer, a bronzed chime of reactivity to fill it's emptiness, no, only the memory of a time forgotten. The wind once more bellowed through that aged Hall, it's grumble heard once more... this time hoarse. Worn, weathered, weary, all were fitting to describe the fellow that entered once more. Yet only so short did that shield take hold, was it returned from whence it came. Few dents to add to it's aged figure, nae a tarry too thick or tussle to harsh to weather such an aged artifice. The shield was balanced henceforth against that old oak table, a beaten fellow stood before the chair as he slumped down into a haze. The gaze of such a fellow shifted to the ashes that remained on the Ire's firepit, never lit since he came. The fellow had contributed nothing, and borrowed the kindness of Ire, for this he felt in his heart so dear. The fellow stood, his banner folded, his armour undone, his shield.. left to toss and turn against that table of Ire. He walked out, upset confused, and ultimately a failure to what he had hoped. OOC It was fun to play my dwarf while it lasted. Due to circumstances beyond my control however, I'll have to cease playing my dwarf. I hope I was able to help those who came to me, and give them an experience they didn't have previously to continue on and make the Dwarves great because of their actions. You're a great group of guys, best of luck to you all in whatever you do.

Hiebe 2493 Share Posted November 29, 2016 Dwain frowns at the news of the Grand Marshal leaving. Someone who was good at the job and took pride in it. ((This is quite honestly bullshoit. Good job to those who like to ruin others fun for the fucks and giggles))

z3m0s 1957 Share Posted November 29, 2016 Kalviin Ireheart Shed a single tear as he was delivered the news that his kin had left, his expression vague as his thoughts wondered for many moments before his sadness turned to anger, smashing and banging could be heard through out Urguan as he trashed The Iron Honor in a fit of rage before breaking down into tears, it was clear this loss had hurt him deeply, Belgor would always have a place in Kalviin's heart. Many days would pass without word from Kalviin as he remained locked up in his quarters.
